    "I was doing research at the British Library, which is just a three minutes walk away. Everything in the hotel was very good: clean, quiet, and helpful staff. I would definitely recomend this place to other students who come from abroad for a couple of days to do research in the British Library and wish to pay a fair price." (99110744)

    Very friendly staff.

    Although room was clean, the decor was appauling and was well overdue for redecoration. The plug socket for the tv wasn't wired correctly, causing an electric buzzing sound when plugging things in.

    "Es ist ziemlich schwierig, in London zu einem vernünftigen Preis ein Zimmer mit Bad zu bekommen. 55 Pfund für das DZ pro Nacht waren okay. Die Sauberkeit war so lala, aber ohne dass man es genauer hätte festmachen können, es war eher das Gefühl, dass alles etwas klebte." (3304368585)

    "Not a pleasant experience" (97566320)

    Convenient for St Pancras and Euston which is useful for us

    Room was extremely hot and could only be reasonably cool with fan which couldn't be left on all night because of the noise. As we were leaving early for the Eurostar and couldn't take the inclusive breakfast we asked for a "take-out". They offered us some fruit, which was kind, but the quality meant we couldn't eat the fruit - it was of such a bad quality. Very small room. Unable to get cold water for drinking from the tap - water was either hot or tepid.

    "The hotel provided everything I needed for my stay at a price which wasn't too bad. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very friendly." (108061629)

    Liked the fact there was free wifi, certainly an unexpected surprise. Location was perfect and a life saver at such short notice.

    "Fine - but try to clean wallpaper!" (107230485)

    Efficiency and friendliness of staff - very courteous... were willing to store my overnight bag during the day. The breakfast room was light and airy with a pleasant 'smily' waitress... and enough choice to eat!

    I rarely travel alone, so without a husband I booked a single room. It was small - but it is London and an old building. My concern was some grubby wallpaper which detracted from the pleasant feel overall.

    "Spoiled by the tiny room, and the overpowering heating." (107131686)

    Staff very good, very helpful, polite and courteous. The breakfast was good, and well cooked and presented.

    The room, although allegedly a 'double', was tiny and barely suitable for one occupant. Although the weather was warm the central heating was on continuously, and the heat, particularly in the bathroom was almost unbearable. There was no fan/extractor in the bathroom. The net curtains in the room were badly torn and looked dirty.

    great breakfast and very pleasant breakfast room; cooperative and friendly staff, nice view, comfortable bed, great location (near the British Museum and across the street from the British Library, as well as very close to the tube

    extremely small room - fortunately we had stored our two large pieces of luggage, or we would never have had enough space, a bit claustrophobic, there was not enough space for two people to walk past the bed at the same time

    Very pleasant staff, good breakfast, very central, easy to find

    Room far too hot even with a fan and window open Bathroom very hot wihout even having a shower room far too samll as a double room I would not be able to spend more than one night there.

    Staff very helpful- exhibition equipment had not arrived from carrier company to the hotel. staff tried to help me to sort the problem and kept me well updated with news

    Room was very small between bed and desk. Luckily I was on my own but it would have been far too small if with my partner.

    Very friendly and courteous staff - from reception to housekeeping to breakfast room; Clean rooms - cleaned dialy; excellent breakfast; fast wifi; convenient location for buses and tube.

    the breakfast was adequate

    the room was very small, the double bed was pushed up to the wall so one person had to crawl over the other to get out, the decorations were in need of repair, the shower was so small you couldnt turn round in it.

    i am afraid to say that there really wasnt any except for the friendy but in-experienced maid!

    where do we start!!!! the room was disgusting, small and full of dust and the bathroom was full of mould and looked like it had not been cleaned for a year ( no joke ) oh and not forgetting the very rude member of staff that demanded money for our stay on our second day in front of other guests and told us that if we didnt like it there then we could leave NOW !!!!

    easy to find and well situated for eating out in the evening bed comfortable hairdryer in room friendly staff

    I was on the 3rd floor and it was unbearably hot. There was a fan but in a small room you do not always want the noise of a fan. If I stayed again I would not want a 3rd floor room The bathroom was not clean enough and the basin plughole was disgusting.

    Staff extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast meal very good. Very near to main rail/tube stations

    Room too small for use as a double room. Lack of air-conditioning (room very hot, fortunately there was a desk fan) Shower very small when you are 6' tall! Decoration looked a bit tired.

    "If I had stayed there in winter, my overall experience wouldn't have been poor." (97331180)

    It's within a few minutes' walk from Euston Station.

    The inside of the room was like a sauna. (I stayed there at the end of July.) I couldn't sleep even for an hour.

    Room was very very hot, fan seemed inadequate but to be fair it was a very hot evening anyway. I would probably pay extra next time to get a room with air con.

    friendly staff.

    The room was supposed to be a double. The bed was a three quarter size..just slightly bigger than a single..no good for 2 normal sized adults! The room was really a single room. The shower was too small. It was a shoddy, scruffy room. The bathroom had mould on the tiles. It just didnt feel clean at all and we spent as little time as possible in the room.

    Nicely positioned, not too noisy. Breakfast room nice and light

    Very creaky floorboards, bathroom needs renovation (broken drain cover, limescaled shower head, shower head posistioned rather low), room rather small, bedspread a little dirty and hair on the pillow. Carpets need a thorough clean. Burnt out hairdryer not really a good look. Silver net curtains can tend to look dirty rather than silver so better off sticking to white and cleaning regularly

    The location was great, the staff were lovely.

    The shower was far too small and a bit manky, the shower curtain filthy and the bathroom fan did not work. Very, very hot - thankfully the window opened and there was a fan, but in order to be comfortable enough to sleep the window had to be left open all night and this meant traffic noise woke me at 6am.

    Hotel in convenient situation. Excellent breakfast.

    I stayed as a single and thought the price of the room, £95, excessive as it was more of a single than the double it was defined as!

    In eerste instantie kregen we een kamer aan de straatzijde toegewezen: bloedheet, lawaaiïg en piepklein, volgens ons hooguit geschikt voor 1 persoon. Na protest werden we de volgende dag verhuisd naar een iets grotere kamer aan de achterzijde en een stuk koeler. Dit was voor ons acceptabel.

    Shower cubical small, being 6"3 and of firm build, used bathroom as a shower room and it worked fine, but if you tried to use the cubical as a shower unit it would be impossible. Noise from road and other rooms

    - Posizione ottima per il posto dove dovevamo recarci - Personale molto cordiale - Colazione buona e abbondante

    - Caldo soffocante sia in corridoio, camere e soprattutto bagno - Camera veramente piccolissima per due persone - idem bagno ( sarebbe adatta per una persona sola). - Ritornerei nello stesso albergo ma non piu due persone per una camere cosi piccola questo per via del caldo soffocante

    "We were disappointed with the condition of the hotel but the staff were very friendly and helpful." (97218138)

    The receptionist was friendly and helpful and had a good local knowledge. The dining room was small but clean. The breakfast was of fair quality and quantity.

    Generally the room was very cramped. The bathroom was extremely small and outdated. The shower itself was very small in terms of area and the showerhead could not be angled in any way. Due to these points, water easily flowed outside of the shower and onto the bathroom floor. In addition the bathroom had a damp and unpleasant smell.

    "This hotel has some good points ie- pleasant staff, good food, clean and comfortable bed, handy for both Euston and kings Cross plus underground stations. However rooms are small, window catches broken and looked as if it had been broken for some time. shower is vey small and no working fan in bathroom." (97820884)

    the welcome at the hotel was great and the staff were all very friendly. although the room was not the largest i have stayed in, it certainly was not the smallest, especally in london.

    the hotel was very warm, as it was hot outside. there was a fan in the room however.

    "The expelair was importent to us had it been in working order our stay would have been much more comfortable" (97889010)

    It was extremely handy location for London Euston,St Pancreas and ings ross stations which we were using prior to and after our stay.

    The expel air was not working in the en-suite shower and bathroom.The shower was on the small side.
