Area Information
Harrow Museum and Heritage Centre: 4 miles (6.4 km) - Based around a 16th century barn, an 18th century granary and a 14th century manor house, the centre is now used for exhibitions, social events and lectures.
Harrow Arts Centre: 6 miles (9.7 km) - Located in Hatch End with the magnificent Elliott Hall, the centre hosts local arts events and performances by visiting theatre companies and orchestras.
Harrow School: 2.7 miles (4.3 km) - Attended by 7 prime ministers including Sir Winston Churchill, the school stands on top of Harrow on the Hill, near to the 900 year old St. Mary's Church.
Bentley Priory: 5 miles (8 km) - Once the home of Queen Adelaide and later the headquarters of Fighter Command, from where Lord Dowding commanded the Battle of Britain. Bentley Priory is still used by the R.A.F.

Directions
From the Tube station:
The nearest Tube station is Preston Road (Metropolitan Line). From here, take a left turn when you come out of the station. Walk towards the first roundabout and carry on straight. At the 2nd roundabout, take a right turn down the hill and the hotel is 500 yards on the right-hand side. It is a 10 minute walk. Alternatively, you could take bus number 79 or 204 from outside the station and get off at the 2nd stop, from which the hotel is 2 minutes away.
From Heathrow Airport:
The hotel is 30 minutes (14 miles / 23 km) from Heathrow Airport. Taxis can be arranged for local transport or airport pick-ups and drop-offs.
By Car
- From Terminal 1, follow the exit signs and turn right onto the inner ring west.
- Continue forward through the tunnel.
- At the Concorde roundabout, take the 3rd exit, then at the traffic signals bear left onto Bath Road (A4 signposted to Central London).
- Continue to follow the A4, signposted to Central London then North and South Circular, Ealing, Richmond and Chiswick.
- By the near side of the Chiswick roundabout, turn left onto the A406 (the North). Then turn left again onto Gunnersbury Avenue / A406 North Circular Road.
- Continue to follow the A406 into Acton and then into Ealing.
- Take the A4005 signposted to Sudbury / Alperton.
- Continue on the A4005, entering Alperton.
- At The Pleasure Boat pub, turn right onto the A4089 (signposted to Wembley A404).
- Continue onto Ealing Road, entering Wembley.
- At the traffic signals turn right onto the A404.
- At the next traffic signals turn left onto the A4089.
- At the next traffic signals turn left onto Wembley Hill Road.
- At the traffic signals continue forward onto Preston Road (signposted Kinsbury).
- At the mini roundabout continue forward onto Preston Road.
- At Preston Circus roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Preston Hill (signposted Kinsbury).
- Carry on for 500 yards and turn right into the Brent X Hotel.
