Restaurants and Bars

O'Callaghans Bar & Bistro offers relaxed traditional Irish surroundings. Both bar and bistro offer extensive menu options and a wide selection of beers and wines.

A full traditional Irish breakfast buffet is served from 07:00 to 10:30 (11:00 on weekends). A carvery lunch is available from 12:00. The bistro’s table d'hôte and à la carte menus are available from early evening until 21:30. The bar food menu runs from early to late.

Area Information

Galway city is renowned for its great shopping, dining, bars and nightlife. It has a wide range of cultural attractions including theatres and museums. The hotel offers the ideal base from which to tour the beauty of Connemara National Park and the Aran Islands. Directions from Shannon Airport:
- Proceed to the 1st roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto the R472.
- At Shannon town roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the N19.
- At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit and merge onto the N18.
- Pass through Ennis, Crusheen, Gort, Ardrahan, Kilcolgan and Clarinbridge until you approach Oranmore.
- Upon approaching Oranmore, take the 3rd exit of the roundabout.
- At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit for the N6.
- At the Martin Roundabout, take the 2nd exit for Galway City West.
- At Lynch roundabout, take the 2nd exit.
- Pass Ballybrit racecourse on your right and continue driving to the next roundabout and take the exit for the N6.
- Proceed to Morris roundabout and take the 2nd exit.
- Proceed to Font roundabout and take the 2nd exit.
- Proceed to Kirwan roundabout and take 2nd exit.
- Proceed to Bodkin roundabout and take the 3rd major exit for the N59 (Clifden).
- Cross the River Corrib via the Quinn Centennial Bridge and continue through the traffic lights.
- Proceed to Brown roundabout and take 3rd exit.
- Proceed to Deane roundabout and take the last exit, marked Clybaun Road.
- Continue straight through the next 2 roundabouts and the Clybaun Hotel is located on the 3rd roundabout on the right.

Directions from Dublin:
- Take the N6 via Miltownpass, Rochfordbridge, Tyrellspass, Kilbeggan, Horseleap, Moate, Athlone, Ballinasloe, Kilreekil, Craughwell and Galway.
- At the Martin roundabout take the 2nd exit for Galway City West.
- Follow the rest of the directions as above.


Directions from Sligo:
- Take the N17 via Ballinacarrow, Tubbercurry, Charlestown, Knock, Claremorris, Ballindine, Milltown, Tuam, Claregalway and Galway.
- At Font roundabout take the 2nd exit
- Follow the rest of the directions as above.
