The hotel’s great location, in the heart of Brighton, means it is within easy walking distance of all of the best restaurants, bars and clubs that the city has to offer. Also nearby are The Lanes, a retail, leisure and residential area near the seafront, with narrow alleyways full of stylish shops and exclusive boutiques.

Like the city of Brighton itself, the hotel has a rich, infamous and varied past, which is reflected in its historic original grandeur; it was once the home of Sir Winston Churchill’s great grandmother, Lady Jane Dowager, Duchess of Marlborough, and it is known that the young Winston visited the house whilst studying in Hove. Today, the hotel offers 12 attractively presented and peaceful en suite rooms.

The hotel does not have its own on-site car parking, but there is an NCP public car park opposite the hotel, which offers parking at an additional cost.

Restaurants and Bars

Unlike many hotels today, which only offer a cold buffet or continental breakfast, the Regency Hotel is proud to be able to offer guests a traditional full cooked English breakfast, which is included in the room rates. Vegetarian options and continental breakfasts are also available.

• Deposit: The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
• Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
• Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
• Parking: Public parking is possible at a location nearby and costs GBP 12.00 per day.
• Extra Charges: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
• Cancellations: Please note, if cancelled or modified, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Important Information

Check-In Information:
It is important to provide your arrival time, as reception closes at 21:30 and is closed between 12:00 and 14:00.

Cancellation Policy:
Upon the completion of your reservation, if you have to cancel or make an amendment, you will remain responsible for the cost of your initial reservation. We always do our best to re-sell any cancelled rooms and only then charge you any difference in price plus an administration fee of GBP 5.

The hotel operates a strict no smoking policy throughout the hotel. Smoking in the rooms incurs an additional charge of one night’s stay to allow time for the room to be aired and deep cleaned.

The hotel recommends that all guests take out appropriate travel insurance.

The Management Reserve the right to alter terms and prices at any time.

Directions

By Car:
From the M25:
- Take M23.
- Join the A23 to Brighton.
- Follow the signs towards the city centre and the seafront.
- At the roundabout with Brighton Pier in front of you, turn right and go along the seafront.
- Continue on until you reach signs in the centre of the road for Regency Square parking, just past the Hilton Metropol hotel.
- The hotel is directly opposite the entrance to this NCP underground public car park.
