Our central location and optimal transport links allow you to reach all parts of the city with ease. The main railway station, the Gewandhaus and the opera house are just 200 metres away, while the exhibition grounds lie at a distance of 6 kilometres.

This magnificent building, which was built in 1913 and originally named the "Grand Hotel", is one of the city's oldest hotels. With its listed art nouveau-style façade, it has been part of the Seaside chain since 1995.

Our elegant spa area will enchant you with its Mediterranean ambience. White marble, wicker chairs and palm trees create a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere here, and invite you to unwind as you take a dip in the whirlpool or go for a session in the infrared cabin.

We offer 6 seminar and conference rooms of various sizes which can accommodate 10 to 140 persons. A separate foyer and gallery are available, and the rooms are equipped with the latest in conference technology (including WLAN) and air conditioning. The majority of rooms also benefit from natural daylight.

Restaurants and Bars

Restaurant Steaktrain:
This restaurant begins the new season with a brand new concept. Climb aboard a luxury dining wagon and enjoy a culinary journey through the mid-West. Soft jazz music and moving images of American landscapes and old steam engines give you the impression that you are surrounded by wild prairies.

Nikolai Bistro/Piano Bar:
This bistro is open daily from 10:00 to 01:00. Within an attractive art deco-style ambience, you can enjoy snacks, cocktails and coffee as you savour the view of Nikolaistraße and Richard-Wagner-Straße. Our patisserie offers you freshly baked cakes here each day.

• Extra Charges: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 7 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
• Cancellations: If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Coming from the south on the freeway A9 take the exit 'Leipzig-West' and follow the direction 'Leipzig/Stadtmitte'.

Coming from the north on the freeway A9 take the exit 'Schkeuditzer Kreuz' direction 'Leipzig/Dresden' on the freeway A14. From the freeway A14 take the exit 'Leipzig-Mitte' and follow the direction 'Leipzig/Zentrum'.

Coming from the west or the east on the freeway A14 take the exit 'Leipzig-Mitte' and follow the direction 'Leipzig/Zentrum'.

The hotel is located directly opposite to the train main station.
