A noble beginning of the Fifteenth century building, a precious gem of Venice located in the heart of the old Venice, Al Sole Hotel is a first class hotel, situated in a marvellous 15th century building. The property belongs to one famous Venetian family called "Marcello".
Hotel Al Sole still preserves the atmosphere of an ancient palace that stands in front of the Tolentini Canal.

The common rooms are distributed amongst reception, hall, dining room and the delightful indoor garden (a real privilege for a hotel in Venice) where breakfast is served during the mild season and where guests may spend their free time. Breakfast is a buffet and proposes a wide selection of sweet and savory foods, homemade cakes, fresh fruit ect.. There is lift for our 3 floors.

Directions

Hotel Al Sole is strategically located less than 5 minutes walk from Piazzale Roma’s airport bus terminals and car park, 10 minutes walk from the train station and approximately 30 minutes from Venice Marco Polo and Treviso Airport.

By Plane:
From Venice Marco Polo Airport:
Once you are outside the terminal, a coach service provided by the ATVO and ACTV companies will take you to Piazzale Roma in approximately 20 minutes. The blue ATVO buses have luggage racks and seats for all passengers whilst the cheaper orange ACTV buses do not have luggage racks and have either seats or standing places.

By Car:
We advise you to park your car in one of Piazzale Roma’s garages: the Comunale (the first you encounter after crossing the Liberty Bridge) or the San Marco (turning right after having passed the Comunale). At the San Marco garage you can enjoy a 10-20% discount (depending on the season of arrival) due to a special agreement with between the car park and the hotel. Remember to ask for a coupon at the reception.

On Foot:
From Piazzale Roma (5 minutes walk):
- Walk towards the easily recognizable gardens (Giardini Papadopoli) and cross the first bridge.
- Keep walking straight and you will cross a 2nd, smaller bridge, after which you will make an immediate right on the ‘Fondamenta dei Tolentini’ (the street along the canal, with the canal on your right).
- Without crossing other bridges, make a left on ‘Fondamenta Minotto’ (another street along the canal, with the canal on your right). Keep walking straight and you will find the hotel on your left, facing Marcello Bridge.

By Train:
From the Railway Station, the hotel is just 10 minutes walk.
