Restaurants and Bars

Bar Ai Speci, an old Venetian retreat open until midnight, is a highlight of the hotel. It features walls panelled with dark wood and authentic period mirrors tastefully selected and placed. This collection, and the name of the bar itself, recall the ancient art of the “Specieri” - mirror craftsmen who had heir shops along the hotel's street for centuries. You may order a typical Spritz, a good cup of espresso or one of many international cocktails.

In the breakfast room, guests will find a continental buffet breakfast that offers several Venetian pastry specialities.

How to reach us -

From the Santa Lucia railway station and Piazzale Roma:
By Vaporetto (public transportation) Line 82, on the Canal Grande towards San Marco. Travel time is about 35 minutes to the Calle Vallaresso stop. From the pier, proceed along Calle Vallaresso and enter Piazza San Marco (on your right) from Ala Napoleonica. Cross the piazza, heading towards the Clock Tower (to the left of the Basilica of San Marco). After passing below the tower, proceed along the calle and take the first turn to the right, Calle Larga S. Marco. Continue straight and turn left into the second calle, Calle degli Specchieri. After a few meters, you will find the Hotel Panada on your left.

By private water taxi to Campo della Guerra. From the landing, proceed straight to the Church of San Zulian and then turn into Calle degli Specchieri. Proceed straight. After 200 metres, you will find the Hotel Panada on your right. We recommend that you agree on the price before embarking and making sure that the taxi is authorised (recognisable by the yellow band on the sides and the concession number affixed there).

From Tronchetto (Car Terminal):
Line 82, on the Canal Grande, towards San Marco. Travel time is about 45 minutes. Get off at Calle Vallaresso stop. From the pier, proceed along Calle Vallaresso and enter Piazza San Marco (on your right) from Ala Napoleonica. Cross the piazza towards the Clock Tower (to the left of the Basilica of San Marco). After passing below the tower, proceed along the calle and take the first turn to the right, Calle Larga S. Marco. Continue straight and turn left into the second calle, Calle degli Specchieri. After a few metres, you will find the Hotel Panada on your left.
