The Hotel Kursaal & Ausonia, completely renovated in January 2007, is superbly located in the heart of Firenze.
The hotel offers 28 cosy rooms of different types and dimensions, all furnished in classical taste with modern details. Some of the rooms look out over the cathedral, others over the roofs of Florence and some have a private balcony.

The hotel is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building, and a lift is available. Tickets for museums (Uffizi and Accademia) and guided tours of the city and museums are available at an additional cost.

• Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
• Parking: Private parking is possible at a location nearby and costs EUR 32.00 per day.

• Children and extra beds: All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge for cots. All children under 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Directions

By train:
From Santa Maria Novella train station you can reach the hotel by taxi or on foot. Leave the station from the side where platform 16 is located, and turn right on the sidewalk, and then left on Via Nazionale: our hotel is located at number 24 (black), on the right after Via Guelfa. It is about a 10 minute walk from the station.

By car:
From the Firenze Nord exit:
- Follow the signs for the city centre (centro).
- When you get to Fortezza da Basso, take Viale Spartaco Lavagnini.
- Turn right at the first set of traffic lights on Via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria.
- After the square with trees (Piazza Indipendenza), Via Nazionale starts, our hotel is on the left at number 24 (black).

From the Firenze Sud exit:
- Follow the signs for the centre.
- Once you get to Piazza della Libertà, take Via Lorenzo Il Magnifico.
- At the first set of traffic lights, turn left on Via Poliziano and continue until you get to Via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria.
- After the square with trees (Piazza Indipendenza), Via Nazionale starts, our hotel is on the left at number 24 (black).

By plane:
To get to Hotel Kursaal & Ausonia from Florence's airport you can take:
- a taxi
- the shuttle bus that stops in front of Santa Maria Novella train station. Please follow directions as above, from the train station.
