Hotel Description

Opened in 1906, the hotel still maintains untouched charm of the last century, of which it preserves the original cotto-bricked floor, style and furnishings, as well as all modern comforts.

Situated in the centre of Tuscany, the hotel offers easy access to the famous art cities of the region, including Florence, Pisa and Siena, all of which are reachable within one hour’s drive of the hotel.

Run by the Becucci family since it first opened, the hotel is renowned for its warm and homely atmosphere, as well as its restaurant, serving traditional Florentine cuisine.

The hotel is plunged among olive groves and vineyards of the Tuscan countryside. Its terrace is enriched with flowers and overlooks the central medieval square of the village and the Chianti hills.

Pets are welcomed to the hotel free of charge.

Bellavista is being renowned for its restaurant, serving typical Florentine cuisine and a selection of vintage Chianti wines.

The bar is open from 07:30-22:30 each day.

The restaurant is open from 19:00-22:30 for dinner each day.

Room service is available at an additional cost of EUR 10.

Directions

By car:

From Northern Italy:
- Take the A1 Highway towards Rome.
- Exit at Firenze-Certosa.
- Turn right, following the blue signs for Impruneta.
- After 1 km (0.6 miles), at the first intersection, turn left.
- Pass through the main square of the little town of Tavarnuzze and continue towards Impruneta (the street goes up a hill).
- After just 5 km (3 miles) you will arrive in Impruneta; the Bellavista is in the main square.

From Southern Italy:
- Take A1 Highway towards Milan.
- Exit at Firenze-Certosa.
- Turn right, following the blue signs for Impruneta.
- After 1 km (0.6 miles), at the first intersection, turn left.
- Pass through the main square of the little town of Tavarnuzze and continue towards Impruneta (the street goes up a hill).
- After just 5 km (3 miles) you will arrive in Impruneta; the Bellavista is in the main square.


From Santa Maria Novella railway station in Florence:
- After descending from the train, with the tracks behind you, exit on the left-hand side of the railway station, passing through the turnstiles near the pharmacy and the McDonald’s restaurant.
- Outside the station, cross the street at the signal and then turn right.
- Walk for approximately 50 metres and then turn left, at the first street, Largo Alinari.
- After approximately 20 metres you will see the CAP bus stop on the left (the buses, as well as the signs at the stop, are blue and white). Monday through Saturday from 06:30 to 22:30 a bus passes about every half-hour, and on Sundays, from 07:20 to 22:30, the bus runs eight times.
A small sign on the drivers’ side of the bus indicates the direction of the bus. Make sure that you board the bus indicating Impruneta-Via Bagnolo or Impruneta-Pozzolatico. Purchase your ticket before boarding the bus. You can also purchase tickets once on board but the price is slightly higher.
It should take about thirty minutes to arrive to the main square of Impruneta and in front of the Bellavista.

From Florence airport:

By car:
- Follow the green signs for Highway A1 towards Rome.
- Exit at Firenze-Certosa.
- Turn right, following the blue signs for Impruneta.
- After 1 km (0.6 miles), at the first intersection, turn left.
- Pass through the main square of the little town of Tavarnuzze and continue towards Impruneta (the street goes up a hill).
- After just 5 km (3 miles) you will arrive in Impruneta; the Bellavista is in the main square.

By bus:
Take the shuttle bus that goes directly to Santa Maria Novella railway station and then follow the directions as above.

By taxi:
A taxi station is located just outside the arrival terminal of the airport and a trip should cost around EUR 30.
