"As stated above, the guest house was comfortable, easygoing and very friendly. We were even given a lift back to the station with our cases when we left. The staff were friendly and we felt that we could have asked them for anything and they would have tried to accommodate us in any way possible. The bedroom was comfortable and clean." (97629322)

"In general we were very happy with our stay. The B&B building was nice, the room was pleasantly decorated and clean and the accommodation was handy for all of the local amenities." (97334071)
Despite having booked a double room we were put in a very nice family room which was spacious and clean. The B&B was well located.
The shower could have been better, there was only a very weak flow of water.

"The Hotel is within 20 minutes of The George Best Belfast City Airport with plenty of trains and buses and taxi's. There are ample car hire sites at the airport. The Hotel its self is perfectly situated to Bangor town centre ( aproximately 5 minutes walk ) It is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The food is beautifully prepared and the staff are very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are well appointed with televisions and cleaned while eating your breakfast. All in all I and my family had an excellent stay there and wouldnt think twice about staying there again in the future" (99303545)
The hotel was spotless, bright and well situated for Bangor town centre and the food was delicious

"For a weekend stay, with little time being spent in the room, this hotel was fine. My only criticisms as such are small. I felt the heating could have come on earlier in the day as the room was very cold to go back to around 1630 to 1700 and could have come on earlier in the morning. Also, it would be nice to have somewhere else in the bathroom to put things down, i.e. a small shelf maybe." (3305215607)
It was very convenient to the town and marina, had a lot of character and was well kept with friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent.
I felt the heating in my particular bedroom (right at the top of the house) could have been more efficient.

"I would not recommend this guest house for people who have difficulty with steps and stairs... although I personally did not have a problem at all. Having said that, my mother who did have some difficulty with the stairs was pleased we stayed there - the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff far outweighed the minor inconvenience. The TV in our room had a very bad picture on 2 channels, and on a third it scrolled intermittently. The repair men were called out during our stay, but was not fixed before we left. Again for us this was minor as we had the use of the main guest sitting room where the TV was fine and also had Sky channels to choose from, so we more often sat in there when we were not out and about. There was a kitchen dedicated for guests' use - an excellent idea - there should be more guest houses with this facility." (3304402842)
When we arrived, the difficulty my mother had with the steps up from the driveway was observed and we were offered a room for her on the first floor instead of the one reserved on the 2nd floor. Excellent breakfasts - and plenty of it! They even very kindly looked after our little Yorkshire Terrier for the day when we visited Belfast Zoo.
Lots of steps up to the guest house fom the driveway... although there was a wheelchair lift... but once inside also a lot of stairs up to the rooms - OK for us, but my mother struggled a little. TV in our room was not working properly and did not get fixed before we left.

"Apart from the two things mentioned previously, all in all the accommodation was clean and our rooms newly decorated. The very fussy members of our family group were perfectly happy with their room and the service - so the Ennislare House must be doing something right!" (3304639111)
Good size room for our family. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Staff not always available when arriving / checking in at the accomodation. Also, sockets in room are poorly positioned so difficult to plug kettle in. But these comments should not detract that we enjoyed our stay at this location.

"I would have liked to know that the hotel had kitchen facilities I was allowed to use. If I had known this I would have planned to buy groceries and eaten cheaply for the three days but since I didnt discover the kitchen until day two it wasnt worth it. Perhaps it was on the site and I just didnt see it ..." (2822609)
Comfy beds, big bathroom with a shower that didnt allow the water to splash all over the floor. Very homesy. Slept like a dozen logs.
All good, though it was a bit cold in the night. Could they do something about Bangor weather?

"Enislare Guest House, Bangor, N. Ireland, provided five star treatment with guest house price. The bedroom was a pleasure, with soft furnishings and art to grace any home, along with two easy chairs for holiday reading, and viewing the Marina, and at night the Light House. The en-suite was Clean and bright supplies of soft fluffy white towels added to the pleasure. The tea and coffee making facility was a delight after a day walking, and the guest kitchen equipped with every facility was a joy! The adequate parking facility took the worry of your vehicle. The dining room and the breakfast menu were a delight giving the guest a first taste of Irish bread etc. Last but not least the staff. They were efficient, helpful, friendly and it is difficult to praise their hospitality enough. Well done Mrs Bree more power to your elbow, cannot wait to return!" (2633836)

The hotel does't have a lift and it could be a bit of a problem for the less mobile if you were on one of the higher floors as we were. All in all we had a very good stay and would use this accomadation again." "As much as we liked the hotel we had difficulty finding it and also there were too many stairs both up from car park and to the rooms. As our daughter is 7 months pregnant and my wife has knee problems." (2561873)
We found the accommodation to be of a very high quality of cleanliness the food was excellent and plentiful the rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly.
Staff availability was poor and car park should have a warning sign at the entrance to say that the poles are there and that a heavy laden car may have difficulty getting over them. Which happened to us.
