"Fair... Service levels, while good, did not balance out the room rate." (107525852)

Staff Friendly and helpfull. Food was og a very high quality (and quantity!!!!)

Very expensive relative to other hotels... Room rate over priced when compared to other hotels where room is of a higher quality (SAS Radison's for example). Also, having to pay for Wifi was harsh!!!

Problems with the plumbing in the bathroom which were not corrected before we left[two days after reporting] Very noisy on Friday/Saturday evenings but this is mentioned on the website.

Unable to have the window open at night because there was very loud music being played from the building across the allyway until 4.am in the morning. When eating in the resturant in the evening of our first night I felt as though we were seated in a Wimpey Bar next to the kitchens.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfasts (and service)

Having to park in street was a little disconcerting as Hotel Parking was expected. This was available but not promoted.

"Thought this was a lovely hotel, but felt that the loud music from the ground floor bar spoilt the general high standard. We were not aware of this before we arrived. Spoke to Reception who were unsympathetic & unwilling to move us, which in any event, would not of helped as the music could be heard throughout the hotel. Would only recommend this hotel to heavy sleepers or party goers!" (1935309)

Excellent central location. High Standard accommodation & good room size.

Very Loud music until 1am from ground floor bar. Kept awake even on 4th floor.

"I very much enjoyed my stay on the whole and found the accommodation very comfortable. My only comment was about the food - I am a vegetarian and although there appeared to be a good choice, it was really just vegetables in sauces with rice or noodles. I would have liked some pasta dishes as well." (99379694)

Everything - it was very clean and comfortable. It was great to have herbal teas in my room, which were restocked daily.

"We really enjoyed our stay and I found the booking procedure very clear and easy to use - the only downfall was that when ordering on-line I requested a room with a view of the Marina. We didnt get this, which didn't matter a great deal in the end, but I was not informed in my confirmation if this was be possible or not - leaving us to wait and see when we arrived." (1454302)

The facilities of the hotel were excellent and the location in the town centre was perfect.

We ordered room service and, whilst delicious, unfortunately there were aspects of the meal which were cold on receipt.

(3305437227)

very good pool & staff excellent

room was very cold at night, as we had our baby son with us the second night of our stay it was difficult to accomadate his bottles as there was no refridgerator- We thought for the cost of the room this should have been standard, but overall we had a very good stay thanks

Excellent fitness facility with pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The changing facilities are excellent and they provide you with towels when you go down there.

There were functions downstairs and we were kept up with extremely loud music untill 1am on both nights of our stay!

a super room...fresh, beverages at the ready

Don't really know as we did not use the sports/ leisure facilities. Smaller size portions for main course

"Staff were friendly and very attentive and food in restaurant was very good which was a pleasant surprise. The room I booked may have been a little expensive (single) but since I was upgraded (to a double with sea view) it was value for money and much appreciated. Hotel was exceptionally clean in all areas. Would be excellent venue in summer months with lovely harbour outside the door. I enjoyed my stay. Thank You" (3304400443)

Location was good, was upgraded to a sea view which was very nice of them, the food in restaurant was very good and breakfast was substantial.

The decor was a little dated but the room was exceptionally clean. The quality of toiletries in bathroom could be better.

"We had an extremely relaxed stay at the hotel and made the most of the facilities within. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant fantastic and reasonably priced, and the leisure area (Oceanis) was great fun." (3304374937)

The room itself was lovely, a nice size, and had a homely feel to it

The only part of the room i didnt like was the bathroom... It felt cold as there was no heater in it, but it was clean even tho it looked warn. Also i felt that the check out time of 11am was a bit early, however we were allowed to use Oceanis after this time which made up for it.

    Hotel location and staff.

Brighten up the room. Touch up the areas around the hotel that look like somebody started maintenance sometime ago, i.e. outside the lift on the forth floor, behind toilet in room 410, etc!!!!

"We were there for 10 days while we looked for a house rental in the area. The staff graciously accommodated our early arrival and was able to make arrangements to allow us to stay on beyond our original departure date, despite the fact that they were nearly full due to a special event on that weekend. No request was ever refused, and everything we asked for was handled promptly, efficiently and courteously. Special thanks go to Reine (!) and Arlene at the front desk for making a somewhat stressful time significantly smoother. Thanks again for everything." (2315067)

The staff is among the most friendly and helpful we've ever encountered--the service is truly excellent.

Our only complaint was that the sofabed in the Family Suite was in need of a minor repair to the springs. Otherwise, everything (service and facilities) was outstanding.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL VIEW FROM OUR BEDROOM WINDOW AND THE BED WAS A GREAT BIG SUPER KINGSIZE WHICH WAS VERY COMFORTABLE.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THE JACUZI AND STEAMROOM WERE NOT WORKING IN THE LEISURE CENTRE
