    "Hotel is clean, staff friendly. Hotel is well visible from some distance, which helps with finding it. Breakfast expensive but very good - self service. Car parking is pretty secure for a public car park." (97643345)

    Good location, good sized room, comfortable bed. Great breakfast.

    Doors noisy, curtains did not exclude external light well enough. Hard to get to entrance because of roadworks.

    close to town, easy to get to

    grim surroundings, car-park looks like a post-apocalyptic nightmare, views grim too! our room was not available when we arrived at 3pm. had to wait 20 minutes

    Not in a great position difficult to get to because of roadworks. TV old and average.

    "All in all it was a pleasant one night stop over. Nothing more, nothing less...although the cafe round the corner did a wicked full english!!" (97732825)

    The location. It was ideal for visiting The Crucible.

    Trouser press was pretty rubbish and the TV was ancient...with a video??? Who uses videos these days?

    "would recommend this hotel as a great base for a city break in sheffield. we went to a concert at the carling academy and this was a perfect place to stay for that. the staff were really helpfull and the hotel was clean and well kept." (97212292)

    The contemporary design of the hotel was very different and I much preferred this in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in!!

    Everything was fine, the only thing I didnt like was that the car parking facility was not easy to find and we had no idea where it was, and so had to park in a neighbouring park for more cost!!

    "good value hotel but subject to early morning rush hour traffic noise if you prefer a lie in. Parking is in National car park at rear of hotel accessed through the petrol station forecourt or you have to go round the block again. Special Car park rate allows you to leave vehicle on a 24 hr basis and forget town car parking. Close to ring road and access to motorway for entering and leaving Sheffield. Hotel well signposted."     "overall the hotel provided excellent accomadation. We had a fabulous night and throughly enjoyed our stay. We would have liked breakfast included in the price but I have already mentioned this, so I wont bore you and repeat myself!" (97538065)

    The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely, attentive and very helpful. The hotel was also ideally situated....not far from the centre and with easy access to the tram line (which we used to get to the arena...it was an experience!)

    breakfast at £9.50....very pricey, maybe should be in with the price of the hotel.

    The interior design is stylish and the in-room facilities are good. Cheaper than you would expect, considering the central location.

    It can be hard to get hold of someone at reception. The bedrooms are also rather dark and would benefit from a central overhead light.

    "The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the hotle had been recently re-done so it looks good but the standard is not necessarily maintained. The bathroom floor was very slippery, and the big new television didn't fit on the turn table so it slipped off if I wanted to turn it around.     The hotel has been recently re-done and some of the decor is nice and modern, the staff were polite and helpful.

    The new decor has not necessarily been well thought through. I think teh food made me feel ill.

    The room was spacious and clean.

    The bed linen was not changed for the 2nd day. The long winded access to the Car Park is a disadvantage.

    Parking: I never used your parking facilities although it was nearby but to approach it I had to make rounds all around the city, due to street works in progress around the Hotel. Thus I used the parking of Holiday Inn

    Handy, City Centre location, room clean & comfortable with adequate tea / cofee making facilities. Large bath towels.

    Car park entrance difficult to find, despite assistance from hotel staff. Small duvets on beds which kept slipping off. Restuarant prices appeared to be expensive & breakfast over-priced.

    "Getting to the hotel was difficult despite the fact we could see the building but on arrival, the young receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, with good size beds, adequate for three adults. The cost was very reasonable but I thought that breakfast was a bit pricey.     The convenience of the hotel for travelling to & from Sheffield and the proximity of the city centre. Staff were very helpful. Relaxing lounge and bar

    The bed. Type of mattress that doesn't allow skin to breathe! Rather like having a rubber sheet on mattress I presume.
