"Alright for the money, but when compared to the price of a travel lodge I'll pay the extra in future" (97530020)
Sheets and towels were very clean, bed extremely comfortable
Led to believe there is a bar at the hotel which transpires to be a vending machine, no tea and coffee making facilities actually in the room.

"Helpful and friendly staff with rooms that are fine for the price and as the hotel is only 5-10 minutes walk from the tube station its situation is also very convenient." (97442480)
For the price, the room and breakfast were generally fine. As the room was ready the staff let me book in early - I really appeciated their helpfullness
No kettle in the room Very thin sausages and fatty bacon for breakfast

"All in all we were very pleased with our room and the overall running of the hotel, from the guy at reception to the staff in the dining room, they were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us." (97892891)
Staff were very helpful and very friendly. We liked the en-suite and were able to get access to our hotel after midnight using our own key. The room was basic but very comfortable.
Nothing really but woul have liked a slightly bigger breakfast.

"I have stayed at the Beaver Hotel many times when attending conferences at Earl's Court. The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. Whilst the Hotel has no restaurant, merely a breakfast bar, there are dozens of nearby establishments which can cater for any taste in food from a dozen or more countries. You will not find better value than this in London!! I look forward to my next visit!!" (97943733)

"I found the staff helpful and friendly. I was happy with the room overall. There were no clear fire drill instructions, which I have seen in other hotels, although fire exits were clearly labled. The food was fair well cooked and the coffee filtered not instant. Over all for the cost I am happy with the hotel." (97010596)
Small functional good budget room. Absolutely loved a retro radio on the wall I hope they keep that long term.
lack of cleaning under the bed. i found a pair of Very dusty socks under the bed which was disconcerting, so the cleaning could be more thorough.

"A charming place, well-located, a great breakfast, and friendly staff. Plus a modest price.Luxury is wonderful occasionally, but there are enough over-priced, fancy,(and boring) hotels in the world.I think that The Beaver Hotel, in all it's simplicity, deserves a lot of merit in what it offers. Long may it last!" (97286774)
I was happy to be greeted by the friendly young Swede at the front desk, who was both efficient and helpful. My room was newly painted, a lovely pale yellow colour. I loved my view of the trees in the crescent street outside my room. The hotel itself was surprisingly quiet at night. The shower, down the hall and down one storey-and-a-half, took a long time to warm up, but was worth the wait. The good English breakfast was terrific, and the Polish girl who served it was both charming and efficient.
The old carpet in my room was tolerable, but I did not care to look too closely at my blanket or the bed-cover, which had seen better days... in fact, my room was very clean, but it was these two textiles which lowered the standard of the room.

"We were very pleased. It is extremely expensive to stay in central London - this hotel was cheaper than the majority but it was in a nice quiet area which we liked." (97285797)
It was very central. Not luxurious but excellent value for money and very suitable for out needs.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was a bit sparing but OK.

"The staff was very nice and helpful, the exterior of the building was charming, the location was nice. But I would hesitate to recommend the hotel to a friend because of the lack of an appearance of cleanliness." (99757075)
Proximity to metro and restaurants, calm area, nice lounge area, nice staff
curtains, carpets, bedspreads appeared dirty and grungy looking. We never wanted to touch anything. Visible stains on bedspread and curtains.

"Very disappointing if we had been in London longer than two nights I would have insisted on a refund and found somewhere else to stay. We had gone to London due to my daughter dancing at the Albert Hall and it was her firt time in London and wanted to make it special, unfortunately the Hotel room took the shine away for her. We certainly would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the future. The overall standards were not acceptable. I find it difficult to believe that in this day and age that the hotel was so grubby in general when hotels are having to compete for tourists that they can offer such grubby and sub-standard rooms." (99629899)
location
when we arrived we had a triple room (three single beds)the one bed was filthy the sheets were stained and the room was generally dirty and grubby. We reported this and they did move us to another room. This was better at least beds were cleanish. The bedspreads however were very stained and the room wanted a good clean, the carpets were dirty so were the skirting boards. The lamp shades were flithy and dusty and the room just was un appealing. The bathroom sink was cracked the toilet stained and generally grubby. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, we had to go down three floors in the lift to get a drink. The decor was tatty and dull and un appealing. We were on the top floor we had no assistance with our bags there were no lights in the corridor at night which was a tripping hazard.

"From the price range selected the hotel was no worse and no better than expected. For business requirements would be perfectly adequate." (99625626)
The sheets were clean and the water hot. Breakfast was family style and NO waiting.
The interior of the hotel looked tired and from the 60's

"Just prior to my stay, I read the hotel's reviews and worried about the comments. The negative comments would have swayed me to change hotels if it wasn't for the fact that there was a cancellation penalty and I was only staying one night. However, I found some of the critism unwarranted. I had a pleasant stay, the staff were informative and the room and bathroom were clean. I had a full English breakfast which was adequate and was included in the price. Yes, the corridors and rooms could do with re-decoration but, if you want somewhere 'limited budget' and central to stay and don't want to spend a fortune, then stay here. If you want all of the trimmings, pay more and stay elsewhere. It's as simple as that! For the meagre sum I paid, I thought that it was value for money." (99395302)

"Very convenient for Earls Court area, and in a quiet, largely residential street. Bed conmfortable, but fittings need renewing. A basic, budget hotel for this part of London." (99324615)
Very quiet situation. Friendly staff.
Fitings looking dated and , in one case, damaged. No double glazing so noise from other guests obtrusive. Asked for non smoking room;someone had definitely smoked in this room before.

"The receptionist was amazing, she understood I was tired following a long flight and not only offered me my room early but breakfast as well. Overall, I found the staff extremely accommodating, very friendly and their service was seriously above and beyond as they say. As a visitor in London, I found the directions to the hotel invaluable. I didn't realise there is a lift you can use at Earl's Court tube station so struggled with my cases up two flights of stairs....my fault but it might be worth a mention in your directions. I'd also say how easy it is to get there from Heathrow, direct line etc, can't remember if you do say that." (99676319)

1. The very good parking facilities 2. Location - it was a quiet and pleasant location - as described. 3. Location - near to the Underground and also to Earls Court Exhibition Centre
1. Cramped room - could hardly move around the double bed. Also the only room located halfway up the stairs, with all the passing traffic of people going up and down. 2. Dirty bed blanket and counterpain - we changed them ourselves for the clean spare blankets in the wardrobe. 3. The cushion on the chair in the room was very dirty.

Good location if using public transport. Small and welcoming. Pleasant cheerful staff. Value for money.
The room's layout was good but the finish had the feel of DIY. Noise - despite being in a quiet crecent the proximity of a main road with police-car/ambulance sirens was irritating but I live in the quiet of the countryside; I should have asked for a room at the back.
