"Good. Will (and have already) recommended it to other people. " (108066935)
Staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming, room was really nice, and premises were clean and appealing. Comfy seats in the bar area, too!
The internet malfunctioned which was problematic, and breakfast was OK but nothing special. Also, it would be nice if basic bar food/room service was available a little later. I arrived at 9:40pm having been delayed due to roadworks to find there was no hot food available, although the staff did offer to go and make me a sandwich if I wanted which was very appreciated!

"The hotel staff where very friendly and attentive" (97948365)
the room had been cleaned but the bath had not and there was a grease line. The line was still there on the second day even though the room had been serviced and i had written hello on the side of the bath in the grease but it was still missed along with the bath taps. Very odd as the bathromm apart from this was spotless

The room was excellent, spacious and clean. The staff were always helpful and accomodating. Room Service was promptly delivered and the bar staff were very friendly
I was staying in the coach house, and the hotels wireless broadband didn't seem to have the range to reach it.

It was the most noisy hotel i have ever stayed in, very strange, and the reception staff shrugged when i mentioned it to them!

"All I will say about this hotel is thank goodness I happened to have a pair of earplugs with me or I would never have got to sleep. A rock band playing in one room, someone playing bongo drums in the bar, a karaoke going on somewhere else (who wants to hear Angels at 2am, no matter how good the singer?) and a persistent whining coming from a ventilation grille in the room...sorry, but while the staff were very obliging, the management need to decide whether they are running a hotel or a pub." Large rooms well furnished,Pleasant hillside position. Imagine it would be lovely sitting on balcony on a summer evening. Very helpful young man who checked us in.
Expensive)especially as breakfast not included Asked for a quiet room and they put us next to the entrance so all night people were leaving the restaurant and talking outside our room

The twin room was big and comfortable and there was a modern feel due to little details such as a flat screen TV and also due to the newly refurbished bath/shower room.
There could have been a brighter light for the mirror in the bedroom, but other than that I have no complaints.

"Main reception was unattended and with dirty crockery on desk when we arrived. No sign to say where alternative check in. Leisure complex was not open or available for use until after 8.05am saturday, not good for early morning dip. Building work on leisure comples should really be sorted out of season, not a bank holiday weekend. Restaurant was not open for evening meal on saturday night. Food served on saturday night in carlton suite: carvery not very good, a la carte ok, breakfast on sunday in cartlton suite was very poor. Stay was spoilt by non attentive staff and inadequate information. We were unaware that a special music weekend was on and this may have had some bearing on the poor service, however this was only for the sunday and we in fact checked out on sunday morning. A pleasant hotel let down by lack of good management!!" (3305273095)

"To be honest, we have stayed here before and never really rated it, but there is very little hotel accommodation in Llanelli, and that gives the two major hotels a monopoly situation. At least this time it was quiet (on a prior stay we were kept awake until 2.00 am by a wedding reception disco). The hotel sums up the town - seen better days. If visiting this part of the world we recommend staying in Swansea if you like a lively place, or Carmarthen for a peaceful experience" (3305021579)
Nice and quiet
The room fittings were shabby (for example, some of the drawers were falling to bits). TV reception (only standard 5 channels) was poor. We asked for a wake-up call that never materialised. No information about room service in the room.

Good breakfast and parking
Broadband didn't work - not helpful at all on a business stay. Bed was terrible and noisy. Checking out took an eternity as it was all done by hand - this is 2006 and PCs aren't expensive!

quite a large room
room dark and one window sealed-up so you couldn't open it, thus hard to get a cross-flow of air. Very few milk cartons provided in the room. Corridors very hot. Should have pots of tea at breakfast rather than requesting a cup at a time.

"This hotel has great potential in the near future when all the building works are finished. The pool is slightly small but adequate for a short stay. Staff were plesent and helpful. Had a slight problem on booking in when the swipe card did not work. Also the lift stuck when we were in it on our arrival but we overcame that by getting off on another floor. Used the stairs after that panic." (3304680230)

"We, as a family with older children (young adults) found this hotel to be in an easily accessable location. The rooms were pleasant and spacious. The restaurant for dinner was very well laid out with plenty of room between tables. The food was superb - well cooked and very well presented. The staff were curtious throughout our stay. Breakfast was most acceptable with plenty of choice." (3304154627)

There was little information on facilities for the disabled on the advertising matierial we used and this was a major factor for us. We were extremely well looked after on arrival and at all times during our stay." (1749392)
Very good service with friendly efficent staff. Good parking facilites, ideal locaction for visiting relative.
