    "We were very impressed with this hotel; very nice public areas and bedroom. Restaurant excellent, and we liked the fact that you could choose either a full meal or snack type food. Staff all very pleasant and efficient, especially the young lady who checked us in and arranged a taxi for next morning. Having stayed in a few airport hotels over the years, this one stands out way above the others - I have already recommended it to people we met on holiday (who had already had it recommended by friends!)"     Clean room, good food

    Food was expensive, and lots of additional charges (e.g. parking, undocumented tray charges for room services) made the overall value for money rather poorer than the room rate implied.

    During our stay the room got very hot the heating was off, and were trying to find the ac unit. To our suprise we coundt find it had to ring the reception, and to find out that there was no ac and were told to open the window well it was a warm evening and was not pleased about that

    "As an airport hotel with no other businesses in the vicinity it seemed as if the hotel exploited the lack of options the residents have. Also, if you know there is nowhere else for people to go to eat then you should have a restaurant capable of catering to the number of occupants." (97803275)

    Clean modern facilities and spaciousness of the room.

    Food..... although the menu was fairly varied the actual dishes were a little disappointing. The presentation was very good the actual content and taste was not so good.

    The 'internet/movie' special package was a great value for the money.

    TV internet access was convenient for leisure access however the onscreen viewing area was slightly annoying as it was so limited. Next time I will bring my laptop- problem solved!

    everything was great and not the over expensive poor quality rip off london we expected.we will definately be back again.

    no tube station nearby.but we were sorted out with a taxi at a very reasonable rate.

    "Overall, this is a pleasant hotel, however, we found the restaurant prices were outrageous. Whilst we are aware that London prices are expensive, for the cheapest glass of wine (5 pounds), in Australia, we could buy quite a decent bottle of wine!" (97027003)

    Pleasant atmosphere/ambiance; clean; comfortable bed; good bathroom; good TV reception and choice of channels; adequate space in room; quiet

    Nothing, except the iron and ironing board were next-to-useless! The cord was too short and the bottom of the iron was badly burnt!

    "The hotel was in an excellent location for Heathrow Airport (but in spite of this was extremely quiet) and the shuttle service was prompt and the driver helpful and pleasant. The pool is small and was rather cold but on the plus side was empty and I enjoyed a good swim there. The reception staff in particular were most helpful throughout my stay. I cannot praise them enough. In summary, I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again. Even though my stay was only in transit, I was thoroughly satisfied with the hotel and the service it provided." (99098432)

    Nothing about acc. However, web-site directions were misleading. 'exit at junction 4- follow signs to Uxbridge - hotel on this road' Infact hotel is off the road saying 'all other routes'.

    "I booked this hotel via the internet and found there all the information I needed. The transpoet directions were very good. Check-in/out were speedy and courteous. The service in the bar and restaurant was excellent. The restaurant service was prompt but not rushed. The hotel has a very attractive, inviting entrance area with warm decor, a large well-lit high ceiling and plenty of seating available. Transport is excellent as are the grounds. Overall, a most pleasant visit." (97892155)

    Room was clean, spacious, good sofa, bath/shower easy to use, all amenities present, e.g. TV, Internet, Ironing, etc. quiet, heating able to be adjusted, good view, good bed.

    Nothing on this occasion but if I had to do reading and/or writing a better light for these purposes would be appreciated.

    The bed was comfortable. Minibar was well-stocked. Bathroom was clean.

    No Air-Con it was quite warm during the night. The cushions in the bedroom were shabby and worn. The carpet in the public areas/elevators was dirty and worn.

    "We enjoyed the restaurant very much despite the staff not speaking much english. The guys on the desk were superb especially as we were tired - easy check in and out. I used the pool - clean. Locker room was basic - no shampoo or lotion again. We will be back in October and our sona nad his wife will be there in June. It is nice to be able to pay early and get a discount with the pound to the dollar as it is." (99606166)

    the bathroom was great, hairdryer etc, bed was comfy,

    pillow far too fat, no lotion, no a/c - we were VERY hot and it was too noisy to leave the window open. I like a robe!!

    "It's great to have all the menu in 3 different sizes. The room are not big but clean, the service was good and when you stay for a night somewhere, it's usually all what you need and expect from your hotel." (99149149)

    All Novotel have usually the same furnitures and decorations, they are clean and you know what you get for the price.

    The check in at Heathrow Novotel is too small and not easy to access when crowded or to leave when other people are waiting. Toothbrush and toothpaste would be a plus in the room.

    "The only downside was the breakfast, it was dried up and not very hot even though I was there early 6am. Layout was disjointed, no milk on table you had to get up with your cup to get it from the urn by the cereal, also there was no butter only magarine.     excellent food, comfortable room.

    the gym was tiny and inadequate, and as I had specifically booked a hotel with gym, this was dissappointing. The pool was rather chilly and could do with sauna, jacuzzi and other facilities. At night there was quite a bit of noise from the bar.

    "I was not happy with the nickel-and-diming. Watching a movie costs as much as buying the DVD. I would not normally expect to pay for parking and internet access, and the charges for drinks and snacks provided in the room were grossly excessive. Most hotels in my experience at least provide free biscuits with the tea and coffee. I also had to struggle across the hotel to my room with a very heavy bag, no help was offered. I would like to see assistance or at least trolleys." (99388186)

    "we like the way the hotel is set up. the breakfast is good but a little expensive. the swimming pool which is ideal for people with children.. we have used the hotel now on several occasions when flying out of heathrow airport." (99480913)

    Clean and comfortable...and the provision of tea and coffee.

    on the two last occasions the mini fridges did not seem to be working and the drinks etc were warm.

    The room was excellent and very modern. In room facilities were also very good.

    Most of the staff very very helpful but there were one or two who treated me like an inconvenience which wasn't appreciated.

    The Novotel Room was huge and all of the fittings, furniture and bedding were new.

    There were not enough staff at reception. Consequently, it took very long to check in (almost 45 minutes). When you have travelled all you want to do is to go to your room and rest not spend so much time at reception.

    "We stayed at Novotel Heathrow overnight as we had a flight departing for Los Angeles the next morning at 8.20am. I asked the reception to book a taxi for me for 5.15am pickup to take my daughter & I to Heathrow Terminal 4. I was quoted 12 pounds for the fare. The next morning the taxi driver and a different person manning the reception were chatting away in a friendly manner when we checked out and proceeded to tell me that it was in fact 18 pounds for the 8 minute drive. Upon arrival at the airport, the driver was on his mobile when we were getting out of the taxi. We stood on the kerb for 5 minutes waiting for him to get off the phone. We handed him a 20 pound note and he then claims that he did not have change, shrugged his shoulders and took off. I suppose it is not the hotel's fault but the experience left me with a bad taste in the mouth." (99305456)
