"Generally OK but would prefer to have a separate bedroom for the children rather than convert the lounge/dining area." (107296687)
Location was very good and easy to find with a short walk from the tube. Overall condition was clean and good and staff were friendly and helpful.
The apartment was advertised as suitable for 4 however, with a double bed in a bedroom and the remaining two single beds in the form of a convertible sofa, this meant that once the children were ready for bed, the longe could not be used and we had to go to bed. There was only one pillow per person, additional ones would be helpful. The toaster did not work.

"An extremely conveniently located hotel, at a reasonable price, that would make a good base for tourists" (108078628)
Excellent location - was going to a show at the Playhouse Thaeatre and the London Eye and is perfectly located for both. Also within easy walking distance of Covent Garden
Confusion over rate at check-in, however they resolved the issue quickly and were apologetic

"Great hotel, within walking distance of most of Londons main attractions..." (97928144)
Clean hotel, useful to have a kitchen - saved on expensive breakfasts by just buying breakfast food from shop just around corner. Close to Trafalgar square/London Eye etc...ideal for holidaymakers as it's close to lots of the attractions.
Only one I can think of is if you leave your luggage there when you check out, it's not super-safe. They hand you a key for a cupboard, which you then go to on your own, and leave your bags in - along with everyone elses bags...someone not very honest could quite easily have a field day in there!

"We were not told in advance that we would not have a proper bed to sleep in, or that the room would not be cleaned during our stay. We have stayed in serviced apartments on prior occasions but a proper comfortable bed, the room cleaning at least each alternate day, maintenace of fittings were always provided, and staff were always helpful. It woulkd have been better if we had been informed beforehand that these normal services wre not provided." (97171576)
Its central and convenient location
Uncomfortable bed. It was not a bed but a fold-out sofa. The room was not cleaned during our stay of 4 days. Lack of personnel to assist with taking our luggage to and from our room. Lack of maintenace of fitting in the room and bathroom. Hand rails to facilitate access to the bath were inadequately attached and so were a source of danger. The staff were generally unhelpful and appeared to have difficulty understanding the English language.

very modern and clean kitchen utensils and white goods. Loved the washing machine tablet being left, excellent- encouraged us to use more crockery etc without the guilt of leaving them dirty due to not having a washing tablet. Room was clean and modern: no wallpaper peeling off, scratches or marks on walls etc which can be seen in such hotels as THE Grand in Brighton.

"I did not know that the bed would be a pull-out sofa but it was reasonably comfy. As stated above nicer linen would have made this a lot better. We had a slight problem with the microwave and was surprised with how promptly this was fixed! Clean modern room. Being right in the centre of London made the trip a lot easier. Overall a great stay!" (97550446)

"Basic hotel in a very good position. It is a good base for exploring central London or visiting shows. For London it is pretty good value." (97389362)
Very well placed in London so it is easy to get around. The accommodation is very comfortable and spacious.
Loud music from a club which went on until one o'clock in the morning. This is not good when you are tired and trying to get to sleep.

"This was an excellent hotel for our stay. Location near Trafalgar Square and two tube stations was very convenient. Numerous bus lines pass near the hotel. We walked to Covent Garden, Whitehall, and the London Eye. Although the beds were a bit uncomfortable and the decor a bit dated, the room was clean and adequate for our needs. We were able to fix breakfast and warm up some dinners in the suite, thus saving on food costs. Grocery is in Charing Cross--a couple blocks away. Next time we are in London, we will stay at Citadine's Trafalgar Square." (97067662)
Extremely convenient and safe location, kitchenette, clean room
Beds were a bit uncomfortable, decor needs to be updated (upholstery shows years of wear)

"We like to sleep with windows open, and no aircon, so this was possible, but difficult because of noise (inevitable because of good location). It was also difficult because of bed - folding beds never seem to be comfortable for older bodies, and after a couple of nights are just tolerable. I'd put up with (even)less space for a better bed. The place would be more welcoming if the kitchen had some basic tea/coffee/milk provided at least for first night. Kitchen would benefit from an easy way to keep the door open." (99070362)
Location; airy foyer; free internet (though VPN didn't work)
Bed; TV (poor channel availability and reception)

"It was a great place to stay with tube stations and the river Thames close by." (3304254185)
Convenient to the tube and Trafalgar square, for the Tour de France departure, which was why we were there
Lack of facilities to wash-up due to only having an option of a dish-washer, which we're not used to. The only other problem, was the noise heard from outside the hotel - perhaps noise-reducing windows would help reduce this. The toaster in our apartment only partly worked and our parent's room had no pillows left at all - perhaps your staff should pay more attention in preparing the rooms.

Location. Staff were very efficient. (My husband left my coat at reception and not only did the reception staff pick it up, they advised the staff in the breakfast area to contact me - joined up thinking is unusual!)
Sofa bed - We would choose a 1 bedroom rather than studio in future

"Overall experience is very good. The price is quite high and without breakfast, but this pays for the location I suppose. Nothing more to wish actually, just minor things are neglectable (no tea/sugar)." (99636248)
The location is superb. Everything is good. Helpful staff provided a baby crib by their own initiative and for free.
The breakfast is not included in price and is too expensive, I would prefer a cheaper continental option. No tea/sugar is provided in the room

"This is a great hotel. Easy to get to, we flew into London City Airport and it was just a short taxi journey to the hotel. Charing Cross train station and Embankment underground station are only a few minutes walk away. Very central, within walking distance of most 'sightseeing places', theatres and good restaurants. We were greeted by very friendly staff. When we requested extra pillows and a blanket, they were delivered to the room promptly. The hotel is clean, decor is a little dated, however that would not spoil your stay. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again and would recommend it if you're looking for a mid-range hotel right in the centre of London." (3304107670)
Extremely central, within walking distance of everything. Staff were very polite and helpful. Hotel was not noisy, even though it's on a busy street. Having the kitchen facilities was good. Having stayed in other hotels in London, this is one of the better mid-range hotels, accommodating for everything. Would not hesitate to stay again and will recommend it to others.
Security was not apparent, as anybody could walk in from the street and go straight to the lifts without having to approach reception. Shower wasn't very good, it needs power!! A tea towel in the kitchen would be good...and mugs rather than cups! No real faults to spoil your stay, just tiny improvements.

Its location in London...central
Some of the fittings were not maintained and some items of furniture very well worn i.e Bath plug faulty, Pull up bed tatty , dining table split leg.....however these minor faults did not spoil the break.

"This is a well placed hotel in the heart of the West End. What you get is a compact appartment, with a mini kitchen. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, There are plenty of restaurants and cafe's nearby. There are also 24 hour shops nearby." (3304515445)
The ApartHotel gives more space than the average London hotel room. You have a room separate from your children. You have kitchen facilities to get on with family life.

"Everything I needed to know was there for me on the web site. The staff at the Citadines Trafalgar Square are so curteous. I've stayed here a number of time both on buisness and with friends - it's fantastic. I have recommended these appartments to friends." (3304712994)
The location does it for me every time. I've stayed in the Citadines Trafalgar square appartments a number of times and enjoyed it every time.
Not being able to get into my room until 3 pm. I travel to london on business a lot and usually stay in the Citadines Trafalgar Square. I fly from Glasgow on the 6.30 am flight getting to central London at about 8.30 am - it's a long time to wait to get into a room, that's the only down side for me.

"The hotel is in an ideal location and only a couple of minutes walk from the tube. I would stay there again. It is clean and the staff are friendly. It was much more convienient for me to stay in a self catering apartment as it allowed freedom with meals and I was able to eat out in the evening and grab breakfast in Covent Garden on the Sunday morning (for those on a budget meals can easily be prepared in the kitchen area in the room)." (3304618531)
Central location, cleanliness, The reception staff during the day were very helpful and polite (and deserve a special mention)
TV didn't work, Sterio didn't work, shower was faulty....when I mentioned the problems to the staff on returning to the hotel the night porter attempted to fix the problems in the middle of the night even though we were trying to go to sleep.

"Hotel is situated in excellent location. Plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance and the room facility is excellent, too. At first I was disappointed when we found upon arrival that our double room had just a sofa-bed but it was comfortable to sleep on. I would recomment this hotel if you are looking for just comfortable, simple(no fancy decoration) convenient hotel to stay." (3304594830)
