"The hotel staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure the guest had everything they needed. Westport itself is a lovely place and the location of the hotel is excellent. I wouldn't class this hotel as a 4 star hotel however and it could do with some modernisation." (99868571)
The hotel restaurant and bar were excellent
The room was certainly not 4 star accomodation, the bathroom was very small and old

"Service in the restaurant is particularly bad. Also the set menu of €36 does not represent value for money particularly for vegatarians where the only dish is pasta with no sauce ! The restaurant was freezing cold also. The staff on reception were very friendly and competent. I would reccomend the hotel but advise anyone NEVER to eat at the restaurant" (99926295)

"Good run of the mill 4 star hotel, with 5 star pricing. No directions were included in the booking arrangements and those on the web site were misleading, showing the hotel in a totally different place. The hotel caters for the coach parties." (99882696)
