"Fantastic location and amenities just 5 minutes from airport and 15 mins from Belfast City centre. Between the hotel and the adjoing pub all levels of hospitality were covered. All of the little extras that make a 5 star stay were met and i would recommend this hotel to all of my friens and family." (2887093)
The room and the views were fantastic and the staff could not have been friendlier.
The cd player was not working in the room. The television only had 4 stations, and not as was advertised.

"I thought the hotel itself and accomodation was fantastic apart from the poor TV reception. I thought the hotel bar could have stayed open for longer. It was closed at midnight during the week." (2638893)
The hotel is set in fantastic grounds in an historic house that had fantastic architecture but also modern facilities.
The TV reception was poor with no Sky on satellite viewing.

"Excellent food, service & staff " (107212184)
Excellent local service & support
It puzzles me why the 1st night/day stay is less expensive than the 2nd night. The initial costs are made during the 1st day.

"Nice hotel in pleasant surroundings. Reception and bar staff were efficient and attentive. Had a good quality meal in the restaurant but the staff seemed to forget we existed after the main course was finished and were busy concentrating on cleaning the restaurant rather than serving the diners. People do not need or want 30 minutes to select dessert. I had to source a pen and leave the bill beside the cash register in the end as staff had disappeared. It's a minor complaint and overall it was a very pleasant stay." (99449937)
Good size room, good bed, LCD tv, Nice views.
Internet should be free in all hotels. Bathroom was 3 star standard.

"The style of the hotel was beautiful - very tasteful antiques all around. Especially enjoyed the beautiful open fires throughout - on such a cold November evening - was very welcoming and homely. Need to pre book the Mitre restaurant for dinner. The Cultra Inn at bottom of garden is a nice alternative and less formal." (99057984)
Loved the antique style of the room. Bathroom was excellent. Contained everything needed to make stay enjoable.
One lamp was not working.Would have liked more information leaflets in the room informing of the hotel's facilities and the surrounding area.

"The stay was very relaxing which was the purpose of the weekend break, the view of the lake and green gardens were beautiful. However it was disapointing that the package I purchaced did not include dining at the Mitre resturant as the alternative on the grounds of the hotel was not very good. I would have appriciated being notified of the difference in quality and dining experince especially when booking a romantic weekend away." (2010351)
Comfy linen and beding, beautiful scenery, open fire and lounge downstairs, friendly and helpful staff
Being asked to pay for drinks at the bar imediately as opossed to running a tab or taking a room number like oyher hotels/ bars.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3.15pm so they put us into a bigger and better room, which was lovely. Leisure centre was nice. Bar and Lounge were very cosy with the big fires and comfy surrounds.
I wouldn't call the restaurant a fine dining as the food and service was quite poor.

Ability to open the window!
My non-smoking room had very obviously been occupied by a smoker previously

"This accomodation was first class. As a frequent hotel user I have to say this was one of the best. I have noted by concern on the room cleanliness above. Also we attended a wedding that day in the Stewart suite, and there was no signs to advise how to get from this function suite to rooms. We made a couple of trips during the day by going outside the hotel and in the main entrance. There was no staff available in the suite reception area to advise either. We only learned at end of evening that there was access via the staircase from the Stewart suite to room suites." (1537484)
The quality of the room was very good and breakfast in the morning was first class

"This hotel is fabulous value offering exemplary accomodation at a very good price." (1379641)
Superb suite, with very comfortable bed. Good spa and gym. Excellent dining. Free videos.
Breakfast was a little disappointing in that nothing was coooked to order. The location is not great but the views over Belfast lough are fabulous.

The rooms were very spacious and the staff very friendly. Very happy with the hotel and would definitely stay again.
Felt that the check-out time was very early.
