    "I had been before; found all information accurate. You could promote Avignon as a centre which, as a hub, has outstanding rail communications to a large range of southern cities. The position of the hotel is ideal." (3305240708)

    Individual, not modern mass-product, comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Room well serviced.

    Slightly noisy street despite double glazing. Main stair area a little dark and dingy.

    "I can't say I was expecting much for the star rating and the price range, but it should have been a bit more than what I got. The breakfast was definitely not worth 8 euros, the orange juice turned out to be orange squash. Avignon is great, but stay elsewhere." (3305181860)

    They had a fan in the room and it was secluded enough from the main street to be quiet at night.

    The overpowering lemon smell in the room, spartan decor, uncomfortable bed, rickety garden furniture for seating and no remote control for the TV.

    "The booking process was really easy, and the hotel was just a delight to stay in. The breakfast was simple but excellent, quite enough to start the day with! And I was really pleased with the staff, who, although most of them spoke fairly good English, were nevertheless also very keen to encourage me to speak in my (not very good) French, and were very patient!"     "The hotel is inside the walls of the old city. Is a very lovely old hotel with heaps of character. Close to shops and restaurants, very convienent tourist location. The car parking was at the local parking lot between 500m and 1km away, easy to walk. The staff at the hotel were all very freindly and tried hard to do what they could to make your stay a pleasant one. All round excellent value for money accommodation." (2173624)

    "We were very disappointed in the hotel and we shall certainly not be going again. The only good thing about it was that it is very central. We were woken up each night be a terrific noise of people shouting and laughing at the back of the hotel at about 3.30 - 4 o'clock, and then again at about 6.30 when they were delivering wine" (2259890)

    Nothing. The Shower did not work properly. The Windows didn't shut properly. The air cooler did not work - it certainly never cooled the room.

    The decor was very dismal There should be a lift. It was hard work carrying the luggage down the steps at the reception and then to the first floor.

    "The staff was particularly helpful in making a call to help me with the language. However I was told about a laundry facility that did not exist. The tourist office had better information. The stairs were enough to cause us some problems with the large suitcase , but we did not try asking for help." (2172063)

    The central location and the space the room provided. We had a nice big room.

    We were not crazy about the breakfast. We had some difficulty with the quality of the drinks and the pastries. We found a local restaurant that worked much better for us.

    "Hotel Danieli is an ageing but clean and friendly hotel slap bang in the middle of Avignon, an easy walking distance from all the sights. The staff are friendly, and our room was large and clean, though not air-conditioned. The central location is fantastic, but does mean some street noise at night. We were delighted with our stay and with the service, and will definitely return if we are in Avignon again." (2586252)

    Clean and airy. Good shower.

    The hotel is a bit in need of updating, though it is very well kept.

    Location was very central. Staff was friendly and helpful, prices were reasonable. Provencal decor of rooms pleasant.

    Bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly every day, room was muggy during hot weather in spite of airco unit.

    Charming interior. Location in the middle of the city.

    Noisy during nights, reception staff was playing music. Breakfast not so good,at least not compared to e.g. German or Scandinavian standard. Very poor coffee one day. No parking close to the hotel.

    "The hotel has no air conditioning. If it had been a few degrees warmer than it was during my stay, it would have been a serious problem healthwise for me. I have serious allergies in a hot climate. Secondly, I was thankful I was put in a 1st floor room (2nd floor of the building). The climb up the stairs was tolerable with a medium-sized luggage. Last, but not least, the bathroom had a bathtub with a hand-held shower with no curtain or anything to keep the water from wetting the entire bathroom unless you sat down in the tub. I would still recommend this hotel if you stay in the cooler months and can live with the other deficiencies. The staff were quite friendly." (99850169)

    Location, location, location! It was just a few steps away from the hub of Avignon--the Place d'Horloge.

    No lift. I don't think I saw this information anywhere in the hotel description.

    "Il soggiorno nell'hotel è molto + che soddisfacente, lo straconsiglio. Se l'assenza di un ascensore o di un parcheggio interno non vi sèpaventa godetevi qs hotel centrale da cui si fan 2 passi e si è nella piazza del palazzo dei papi etc. 2 SETTIMANE IN GIRO TRA SWISS E FRANCIA: NELLA CATEGORIA HOTEL STRABETTE TUTTI GLI ALTRI!"     La posizione dell'hotel: centralissima, il prezzo decisamente accattivante, la vasca come richiesto, la pulizia. Se non aumenta il prezzo su internet è un hotel fantastico che valorizza il mercato online.

    Non c'è l'ascensore, ma è comune nel centrol
