    Very Spacious Rooms, overall hotel was very clean. Very good value for money.

    Half eaten biccy on tea tray when we arrived. Outdated (but very clean) rooms.

    Hotel in general is a good standard apart from the room cleaning

    Stayed in room 94 the bedding had not been changed from the previous guest and smelled musty and had a stain. The fabric of the bathroom was poor, large cracks in the bath panel

    We were moved to the exsecutive suite due to our 1st room being very cold. The staff were really helpful and our new room was super.Smart and spacious.

    "There was a wedding function on at the same time and had it not been for the notice at the door we would never have known - excellent. Dinner menu was unusual and all very tempting - very good quantities too and good value - wish we could have stayed another night. Shame that the pool wasn't open at 7am to allow a swim before breakfast. Don't think there was mention of times on website. Facilities looked good. Hotel was clean and warm with no apparent need to upgrade (although work is about to start in reception/dining areas). Directions on website were a bit vague, but plenty of signposts kept us right to get to the hotel itself." (97490868)

    Convenient for our business venue, but quiet and relaxing atmosphere

    Air conditioning generator which went all night, the automatic air freshener which also went every 9 minutes all the time and the fact that the leisure facilities did not open until 8am - too late for us to use.

    "Booking good butfind it useful to have a contact number for the hotel prior to the booking. Accommodation and leisure facilities good - nice not to have to use key card to activate the lights. Only one dislike - the restaurant has a great view. I was the first customer at 07:30hrs on a quiet evening. I was placed in a seat with no view but when others arrived later they were ushered to the best locations. Did they book individual seats - I don't think so?" (97354630)

    "We commend all of the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful -- drew maps, gave detailed directions, etc. The walks around, and views from, the hotel were particularly nice. Breakfast was very good and fairly reasonably priced." (99289009)

    The pool setting was very appealing -- high cedar ceilings, poolside bar, etc. The coffee and tea-making facilities in the room with free buiscuits -- very nice touch. Everything very well-appointed, clean and convenient -- except the toilet seat surprise.

    No hairdryer in the room -- awkward for travellers from abroad without a variety of adapters. Broken toilet seat was somewhat unnerving for the unsuspecting guest.

    I liked the restaurant and the spa

    The bed seemed to be a pull down affair and was not very comfortable.The room was on the ground level and on the night when there was a function on smelt of the food cooked for the function and was very noisy due to the disco that was booming out until 23.30pm and the staff and the guests.The air conditioning was very noisy and i got little sleep for the two days i was there.

    The room was spacious with a spectacular view. Very good bath and shower.

    The room temparature was too warm and required open window. Although we turned off the radiators unfortunately the water pipes run through the room. This did not spoil our stay for one night but could be a problem for a longer stay.

    "The rooms are starting to show their age from the design perspective but they are kept very clean and everything works. Main body of the hotel is modern and there were a large work force visible every morning doing the cleaning and general work around the hotel.     Decent size room, 1st floor - which means that as lone female traveller I can open the window without concern of break-in

    Good location, excellent views

    Whilst very good value. the rooms are looking dated and tired, please do not confuse this with dirty, the standards are very high, as a Director of a company that specialises in this type of refurbishment, I am sure that bedroom upgrades are, or should be, planned for the near future.
