"Excellent hotel. Extremely clean, friendly staff. Top meals, with excellent bar. Best feature for me was overlooking the ground, this is such a novelty. If I am ever going to stay in a hotel in this area again this is now my first choice." (107438640)

Feels like a prestige hotel. Rooms are a great size, en suite clean and fresh.

    "not good" (107120363)

    bed was comfortable.

shower had no power and height was not adjustable. we have stayed here once before where we had a fantastic experience there. there was no room service available which was very dissappointing as there was before when we stayed. we visited the restaurant and found it wasnt very welcoming so we decided to find somewhere else.

Friendly helpful staff, comfortable clean room, great view of pitch, good breakfast!

Shower cubicle was small so no where to step out of stream of water!

  • 9/10 Jennifer ( Mature couple)

"I would reccommend this hotel as it ticks all the boxes, good clean and well presented, good car parking, and only a few hundred yards from the underground station." (97277462)

Well presented clean & tidy room with a view over the pitch.

We liked the accommodation very much but sadly on the night we stayed there was a party in the funtion room directly opposite and the music was very loud and went on until 12.30, we were offered a move but by that time we were already in bed.

    "Fine thanks." (97430983)

Comfortable, clean, tea and coffee in room, nicely lit, pretty spacious, staff friendly but not pushy!

Shower had fixed head which made it difficult to set temperature without flooding bathroom and also made hair washing very tricky for me too. Temperature controls didn't seem to work and I had to ask reception to cool my room down, though they did so happily.

"We liked the gift pack of toiletries last time we stayed and were disappointed not to have that gift this time. We also liked the fact last time we stayed that the West Ham crest was on our towels and this time they were plain. We felt that just made it more special. However we have to say overall we enjoyed our night and would come again." (97842191)

The hotel is excellent in its cleanliness. The breakfast staff are so polite and attentive. The food is top class!

Nice Clean Hotel Room Lovely View-very unique Good Bathroom-Clean Good shower Breakfast in morning-very attentive staff, very clean, good value for money

First Room I was given was very smokey - even though its non smoking! Couldnt open a window obviously because of patio doors Air con very noisy/fridge noisy in collegues room Not much room for Clothes-wouldnt be much good for more than 2 night stay Area not very nice Privacy-a man walked past rooms outside patio doors No signs for hotel-not very clear from road where to go

Lovely environment - reception staff on arrival friendly and welcoming Room comfortable

We had to wait for approx 45mins for milk for cups of tea/coffee on return to the Hotel late at night (we had already used the cartons on arrival at the Hotel before going out for the evening Prices of drinks at the bar. We liked the environment, but chose to go to the Pub up the road for drinks after paying £14.20 for 2 drinks

from Derby , GB  on  May 30, 2008

"This hotel is ideal for people visiting the O2 Arena and who want a cheap, clean hotel for a visit to London. It also has parking available which is a big plus in London, you can leave your car and hop on the tube no fuss. The hotel rooms overlook West Ham's football pitch, which is very different from anywhere i have stayed before. Overall this hotel was great value for money, the staff were very friendly and helpful and i would use this hotel again if i visited London in the future." (97607764)

This hotel was ideal for access to the O2 Arena, the tube was a few minutes walk away and the O2 Arena is only 4 stops with one change at West Ham. Easy to master for tube novices like me.

The only dislike i have about this hotel is the area that it is in.

"The bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was fine. Staff were pleasant - no real problems. Surroundings not very salubrious, but we expected that!" (97621700)

The rooms overlooked the pitch, so were quiet. Close to an underground station. Liked the air-conditioning. Polite staff.

You couldn't open a window for fresh air - but I appreciate the difficulty in this particular hotel. The directions to the breakfast room were non existent.

"it really was a pleasure staying there.the food and bar prices were excellent for a hotel.i would have liked to open the patio doors and look more on to the pitch plus get some fresh air,and take better photos, without them reflecting against the glass doors.i would have liked a little gift to take home as it was our 3oth anniverssary,it didnt have to cost much and would have been a nice guesture.i will book again and have recommended it to lots of friends and family.thankou.c,goldie" (97446003)

"The hotel was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had a problem with locking the room door and the staff were very quick to sort out the problem. There was little storage due to most of it being used on match days only but this was not a problem for us as we only stayed two nights. The views from the bedroom of the pitch were amazing!" (97222942)

it is fantastic to see the pitch from your bedroom window but unless you are a west ham supporter it doesnt mean alot.

The rooms are just converted football boxes, the bar didnt do food any only had bottled larger.. rooms are small too.

"Room was superb. Restaurant excellent value for money. Ideally situated for Bus/Tube making access to central London a welcoming pleasure. We had a 2 night stay so wardrobe space would have been preferable. I'm no football fan but the view across the pitch was wonderfully relaxing, however, we stayed when West Ham were playing 'away'. so can't comment on a stay when they are 'at home'. Food and service was superb and again, excellent value for money. An opening window would have made they stay way above 110% recommendable but to be honest, I am just getting picky." (97245220)

SO WERE UNABLE TO STAY , IT WAS EXPENSIVE FOR A FEW HOURS BAG STORAGE ( 2-5PM) AS THE HOTEL WOULD NOT OFFER REFUND DUE TO COMPANY POLICY OR OFFER A FUTURE DISCOUNT, EVEN THOUGH I EXPLAINED WE WOULD BE VISITING THE HOSPITAL ON AT LEAST TWO OCCASIONS IN THE COMING MONTH !"
