Hotel was central and very cheap. It was clean and ideal for just sleeping in.
My room was amazingly hot and the windows wouldn't open.

"The staff were in general very helpful, especially the staff at breakfast, and the breakfast was good. The furnishings are in a poor state of repair, particularly the bathroom. The general condition of the hotel requires improvement/updating. I would not want to stay at this hotel again anytime soon." (97438804)

"A good hotel with friendly staff that needs a refurb and at £111 (paid) per night does not offer VFM against the nearby Jurys or Thistle when looking at the rack rates of each hotel." (97720966)
Central location.
Room needs a refurb and windows were difficult (if not impossible) to close so noisy. Bar area dated.

"We knew that there was some building work going on but the extent of it was unbelievable. The whole hotel was being re-furbished and there was no where nice to relax. In my view the hotel should not have been open" (97602467)
Central location
It was very shabby, room was dirty, poorly fitting curtains, intermittent hot water, shower was a dribble, very noisy in the corridor, lift did not work. All this in addition to the building work that was going on.

lobby and reception staff were excellent. spacious room.
beds were 2 single mattresses put together, lights didn't work, radiator heater didn't work, building work going on was not mentioned. was disturbed three time by maids early in the morning, key card didn't work correctly

"I accept for this location the room rate we got was probably good, however given I have stayed in other RE hotels I was disappointed with the room we got at this one. My feeling after the stay was that I would have got a better quality room if I had stayed at a travel lodge." (97862512)
The shared areas of the hotel were nicely furbished and clean.
Our room was very small and in need of redecoration particulalry the bathroom. The shower attachment sprayed water all over the place from the join with the taps. We had no view at all from the window due to scaffolding boards. Bar was closed.

"We were charged for the minibar when we did not even open the door or drink a cup of coffee or tea. It was very convenient for the theatre and central for the rest of our needs. The hotel lobby and the dining room were very cold." (97143975)
Comfortable. Chairs and beds ok. Good thick curtains.
Bath tap and overflow dripped. We tried to shut it but were not strong enough. Scaffolding all round the hotel. The room was very dark; the lights might have been eco-friendly but did not provide adequate light.

Off the main street so relatively quiet for a London hotel. Staff were friendly and polite. Overall nicely appointed hotel.
Room was very warm and dark. Struggled to open bathroom window. TV remote did not work very well and buttons were worn.

"The hotel is in the best location one of the nicest looking hotels in the area and the wow factor is carried on from the outside to the lobby and bar area, finished with a clean comtempory modern style. booking the room was easy and gave you the great option of paying on check out so no problems with electron cards. the rooms are a great size, clean and well furnished. the fan was a great help as the rooms get very warm and the secondary glazing made the room really quiet. my only let down was the bathroom, it just was not up to standard with the rest of the hotel, a chipped toilet miss match tiles and a generally grubby feel. it was also no very clear as to weather breakfast was included within the room price or not. but otherwise a great experience and would definatly do it again hopefully with a nicer bathroom next time." (99420123)
The check in was easy, lobby area and bar were clean and modern. a Generally amazing fanish a definate wow factor Fantastic location and the staff were really helpfull
the bathroom needed attention, miss match tiles and a generally dismall feel.

"Whilst foyer of hotel was grand, staff very smart and professional, I was disappointed with the small, dim and jaded, un-air conditioned room. Staff were great, but room was less so!" (3305027430)
Ideally located - 2 minutes walk from Tottenhan Court Tube Station. Easy to find. Check-in and check out smooth and quick - no queues.
Disappointingly small and jaded room ... I had associated Radisson with luxury ... will no longer do so.

Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Comfortable bed with clean comfortable bedding. Excellent, friendly staff who are both helpful and efficient. Would certainly use again. Location was great.
Window was right by the heating ducts which were quite noisy all night, and made the room extremely stuffy. As there was no air-con this was quite uncomfortable. The windows are old style sash windows that would not stay open.

"The hotel had impressive quality and character. Room service was efficient and the quality of the food excellent. The staff struggled to provide information on theatre locations because they lacked maps, or transport information such as where the buses went - this is essential for a central hotel. Lighting in the bathroom could be improved. I would have liked the internet to have told me what films were showing the week I was staying" (3304321160)
The quality of the furnishings combined with their ingenuity in design to make maximum use of the space - how I imagine a luxury yacht would be designed. The quality of the food was excellent
Lighting in the bathroom, particularly over the mirror, was very poor

"The name (somewhere) of the hotel gives a clue to its nature - Edwardian. This suggests, (and it would have been a disappointment if it were not), a slightly old-fashioned but comfortable decor in which one could feel at home and not intimidated. Having stayed in Radisson Hotels elsewhere, (Melbourne, Aus., and Dallas?) I expected a good level of comfort and service and was not disappointed. And the rate, £88 per room was very attractive, particuarly given its proximity to the West End and to Hakkasens restuarant, which was our destination that night." (3304525380)
It was comfortable in an old fashioned sense. It was not sterile and soulless. Room was spacious. Service in the lounge/bar was good. Windows could be opened to get ordinary fresh air; an interesting view from the window
Small things - hooks off curtain in bay window, no appropriate instructions for working the shower, Four Seasons music on a loop was a bit annoying, toilet cistern was cracked.

"The hotel is very easy to find from the nearby tube station, it is right in the heart of theatre land (very handy!) The staff were friendly and helpful during check in and the overall impression upon arrival is extremely pleasant. We stayed in a double room which is a decent size, very clean and comfortable. We did not use the restaurant but did visit both bars which are relaxed and charming. The drinks are not cheap but, in comparisson to other hotels, are quite reasonable. I would highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay again myself." (3304202710)
The Hotel was very clean and well presented, the staff professional yet friendly and the rooms were of excellent standard. I would definately stay there again.
We were only there for a short stay but could not find fault with any of the experience.

"The Radisson Edwardian Marlborough is a beautiful hotel and the service we received from the staff was absolutely first class. The main reason for our stay was to visit the National Portrait Gallery (the wife wanted to see the David Beckham video of him sleeping!!) and also to be within walking distance of Covent Garden and the shops. The hotel certainly met our requirements. One negative comment about our stay, was the noise from either refrigeration units or extractor fans in the surrounding buildings at the rear of the hotel. The staff did try their hardest to find us another room, but as the hotel was close to being fully booked, only twin rooms were available and not suitable for us. We finally got to sleep at 05:30AM, when tiredness got the better of us. If you can sleep through a constant humming noise, then I would highly recommend the hotel." (2254424)
Large room (deluxe double), excellent service and being close to Covent Garden and the National Portrait Gallery.

"The staff at the Marlborough were without exception the pleasantest and most helpful we have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble. Our folding bicycles were stored in their luggage cupboard without demure and problems accessing the internet produced knowledgable assistance. Choosing a de luxe room was only done due to the good deal obtained on the internet, but being there for two nights it made all the difference. We could have swung a cat.... just !!" (1768831)
for a de luxe room it was not overly large but spotlessly clean and with all the bits, including thick towelling dressing gowns and lots of bathing goodies, replenished each day.
Room outlook was onto a central air shaft so no view

"wouldn't stay here again!" (97373469)
Central position
Building work outside room, wans't told about this at time of booking, bathroom shower had tiles which were cracked and looking horrible, also brick dust on top of toilet roll holder and cistern, placement of chest of drawers in gap between bedroom and bathroom wasn't good and stuckout which meant you walked into it during the night on way to bathroom, bed seemed to be short and feet overhung the bottom - could be down to the size of pillows, room was hot and no way to open windows to allow for fresh air.
