"it was better than expected it was tidy & clean. breakfast was ok. broken window in front porch needs reglazing." (97249450)

Good parking and not to far from town centre.

not enough towels for showering. curtains in the room not fitted very well, and the worlds largest fan above my bed, more like a propeler of a spit fire plane.

Room is reasonably wide, bath room is equipped with the bathtub.

    The breakfast room is narrow.

  • 7/10 Alexander ( Solo leisure traveller)

"Booked this as it was cheaper than the airport hotels for an overnight stay.As I arrived fairly late had to get a taxi which at $20 made it more expensive. Ok if you take tube to Hownslow Central. The street is almost opposite the station but house is 10-15 mins walk" (99309729)

The en suite & furnishings were new room fairly large.

Basically a private house converted to a guest house

"it was cheap, clean and what we expected from what we read on the brochure." (99511456)

clean and tidy, close to the railway station

there was no air conditioning in our room

  • 6/10 Anonymous ( Mature couple)

"The hotel looked shabby. The staff were helpful but seemed unsure of what to do. It had the feeling of being recently taken over and was in the process of being improved. Hopefully can only improve. Potential to be very good accommodation." (99318415)

The room was clean and adequate for our requirements

Having asked for a non smoking room. It smelt of smoke despite their efforts to put air freshener in before we entered.

  • 7/10 Anonymous ( Group of adult friends)

homely and welcoming, facilities were as described when booking

    could have been cleaner

  • 6/10 Carole ( Other)

from Diss , GB  on  July 11, 2007

"It was clean and the staff were friendly. Ideal cheap London base as the tube station is only a five minuete walk. Breakfast is offered very early 7-8.30 this was the same at weekends. Don't expect much if you are vegetarian or vegan as no alternatives are offered. All the rooms are close together so can be very noisy. I do not believe it to be suitable for young children, due to the noise and lack of child friendly facilities." (97465311)

Check in was quick and straightforward

The door lock jammed frequently from the inside which was annoying. We had to work out how to operate the air conditioning/light remote control system ourselves. Breakfast was poor for vegetarians.

"The hotel ticked all the boxes needed to make my stay an enjoyable experience." (97803466)

Access from the motorway and proximity to the tube station. The complimentary parking facility.

The lack of CLEAR directions to the hotel. To explain: there was a barrier halfway down the road preventing access from one direction which meant we had to double back and approach the hotel from the other end of the road.

There was an under ground station with in walking distance, plus a pub that served both English and Indian food at very reasonable prices. We found the guest house well situated for visiting many places in the London area." (99920624)

"Apart from a slight problem adjusting the temperature of the shower water and changing channels on the TV remote controle, we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel in general. The staff were quick to help and responded positively to a friendly approach. For a similar visit to see the sights of London we would definitely choose the Lynch Guest House again. Although the Lynch is situated between the two Heathrow approach paths, aircraft engines were to be heard but were not a nuisance within the Hotel. Definite value for money." (99797681)

It was bright, clean, good heating and comfortable beds.

The only minus point was that they did not give me receipt when I paid in cash and I had to go back and ask them for one, but I sure that was just an oversight." (99553535)

Room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a good size bed.

"Very noisy throughout the night, doors being constantly slammed. This disrupted our sleep.Spoke to the gentleman on reception the following morning about this and he informed me that people who came in late(after 11 p.m.) were given a swipe card to gain entry. We should have been informed of this when booking this accomodation.Had we known that there was going to be a constant flow of people throughout the night we would not have booked. Breakfast poor.Dining times(7am/8.30am).Not flexible enough.Glad the stay was for only one night." (99749678)

  • 8/10 Mark ( Group of adult friends)

"The hotel was clean and very cheap for the area. It is close to the tube station, giving easy access to all areas of London. The staff were helpful and friendly and it took about 30 seconds to book in when we arrived. Breakfast was a bit too early for us late night stop outs, so I have no idea to what standard it was. The rooms looked as if they had been recently decorated and had all the facilities we required. The only issue we had is that we were on the ground floor and I think a family of elephants were staying in the room directly above ours, as they were very loud and I often thought that they were trying to come through the floor! Overall very good stay, would recommend." (3304852910)

Cheap, clean, close to the tube station. When you just looking for a base to sleep during a weekend away, this place is ideal.

Maids come calling for too early, without so much as a knock. I was still lying in bed when she strolled in! lol

Breakfast was fine and freshly cooked, though one couple had to dine outside due to the very small dining area - fortunately it wasn't raining! I was pleasantly surprised, as overall was v good value for £50 for 2 for B & B!" (3304915703)

Location near to Twickenham, although the 20-25 minutes walk was more like 45 minutes (could be our directions tho!)

Close to Heathrow so do get some airport noise.

"Quite satisfactory overall for a guest house/B & B of this type." (3304664744)

The accommodation was provided at a reasonable tariff. The location was within walking distance from the Hounslow Central Underground railway station. The staff were helpful with baggage and advice.

Steep stairs. Room was not large but this was reflected in the tariff.

We chose to stay there the last night of our vacation so we would be close to the aiport the day we had to leave. It was a good hotel for that." (3305202381)

There were four single beds which was nice for our 2 older kids to to each have there own beds. Also, It was very close to Heathrow. airport.

There was no crib available, but we were able to make do.

access to the public transportation system; description how to find it; polite staff; clean room; close to Heathrow airport for the return flight

not enough space to put down two suitcases in a twin bed room; the ventilator was very wiggely and noisy; next to our table on the patio outside of the kitchen old matresses and a washing machine were stored
