"Overall I am very satisfied with my stay. Excellent room, good food, convenient location with parking provided outside Hotel at £5.50 compared to £15 in NCP. If I stay in Nottingham again it will be the first Hotel I try." (108067277)
Very nice large double room in excellent condition. Good food, covenient location close to city centre yet with parking provided.
Difficult to criticise. Only points I can think of are: No radio on TV channels and one light bulb faulty in room. Worst issue was the wine was served not chilled in restaurant, but the food was excellent both in the evening and superb breakfast. Staff were polite and helpful.

"Fantastic! It was a convenient and relaxing place to say. I enjoyed it very much." (97639052)
The staff were welcoming, efficient and approachable. They were efficient and patient at even the busiest times. It was good to have a full-sized hairdryer in the room, and not one of those awful wall-mounted ones. The room service breakfast for £3 was excellent value and very good (and was delivered precisely on time). It is an excellent location for events in the city centre, and at the Arena.
The bedding smelled slightly of cigarette smoke.

Staff were friendly and helpful especially concerning directions and locations. The food was excellent and so was the choice.
The only thing I could fault was the shower leaked and kept going from hot to cold !! If we had been staying longer than one night we would have reported it.

"All in all a very pleasant stay. We will hopefully visit Nottingham again soon as we enjoyed the tourist attractions and nightlife. We will definately consider this hotel the next time we stay." (97862244)
The hotel was gorgeous inside and out. It was ideally situated close to the city centre but there was no traffic noise. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The breakfast was very good for the money and set us up for the day. Had a private car park right next to the hotel.
There was a noise on the top floor of, what we thought, was the main air conditioning unit. The car park costs £5.50 a day but that is still alot cheaper than the local NCP car parks.

"The hotel is in a good central location but our room was overloked by a concrete multilevel car park. Our room looked tired, we arrived tired at 2100hrs so was not busy at that time and we were not tempted to try the bar as no buzz going on. The soft bed did not suit us and the room was not as expected for a superior room, but it was fairly cheap - I wish I had taken a more expensive hotel." (97250175)
Room sold as superior at extra cost. Bed too soft, went down in middle we are 8 Stone and 13 Stone so not huge people. No bath in a superior room. The sink was cracked. Breakfast OK, but plates are cold for hot breakfast - no plate warmer, no fried eggs just scrambled, I could no doubt have asked for a fried egg but I did not have time. Initially charged for two car parking spaces, I only checked in with one, it was quickly rectified. The reception and waiting staff were pleasant.

"The hotel is well placed for Nottingham's town center during the day and it's pubs and clubs at night. There's even a nightclub right next door. Breakfast was hot and well presented, but the mushrooms came from a tin (bit of a no-no) This is the first hotel that I have ever stayed in where I was asked to pay for my room in advance and had to pay for my room service up front because I didn't pay by credit card. This is a shame, as this is generally a nice hotel and it's staff are very friendly and helpful." (97082475)
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was a bit hot. It had no A/C just a radiator. Temp could only be controlled by opening the window.

"I think we had sufficient information before booking and there was no nasty surprise on arrival. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and for an overnight stay we could not fault the hotel. If we were staying at a hotel longer I would always select one with a swimming pool, but this was not a criteria on this occasion." (97127492)

"I wish I had known that the noisy side was next to a multi storey car park and the rear of pubs with recycling bins. I would have prefered to be on the road side (which is usually the noisy side) otherwise the location was ideal, the hotel excellent, and service exemplorary" (97339677)
The room itself was nice. Controls over the heating level, Very central for town. The staff were very helpful, especilly Skye (I have no other name) when we were late for breakfast on the last day.
The extactor fan (if there was one)for the bathroom did not work. So no smells/humidity was taken away. We had requested a quiet room: The room itself was quiet within the hotel but there was a LOT of noise from beyond - recycling of glass from nearby pubs/hotels etc.

"After reading some bad reviews I was unsure whether to book a room or not, but glad i did, it was just right for what we wanted, not far from the train station and to Rock City where we were going. Room needed a bit of sprucing but quite adequate for one night stopover. Breakfast was great choice of everthing available. We will use again next time we go to Nottingham." (97484453)
Easy to find, car park, next entrance hall to hotel oh and breakfast.
Room could maybe of done with a lick of paint, but fine for what we needed.

"Overall the size of this particular room was smaller than we had expected and in our opinion better suited as a singleroom (as it was difficult to walk around the bed.) We thought the room decor shabby, the toilet flush poor and the sink mixer tap abit hit and miss. This was not off putting for one night but would not have been acceptable to us for any longer. In addition we thought the corridor was shabby and immediately disappointing to see upon leaving the lift, particularly after such a nice hotel entrance and efficient greeting by staff." (97038497)
Hotel frontage and Reception/lounge and dining area are very well presented. Hotels own carpark is ideal. Breakfast was good. Hotel is very well sited for Restaurants, Night Life and Shopping.
Room size is small. No iron or board in the room, you needed to ask if one was required.

"although the hotel itself was clean, cheerful and central and good value for money and we were refunded in full, unfortunately fellow guests were intolerable and no sleep or peace was had all night. Bed far too small and covers likewise so fairly uncomfortable in bed. Maintenance badly needed on shower and taps. Would not recommend it unfortunately because of noise otherwise if shower had worked would have been happy with economical priced accommodation." (97232255)

"The tea adn coffee making facilites in the room were very good, and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent, but rather spoiled by a group of young men on the next table in the restuarant who were obviously suffering the effects of the night before and one in particular was swearing loudly." (97913411)
The service and the facilities were very good. The room was clean and well stocked. There was enough room for our toddler to sleep at one end of he room and for us to be able to have the bedside lights on in order to read without disturbing him.
There was a lot of noise during the night from local clubs or pubs.

"Poor customer care and inadequate/poor room facilities" (108007708)
Some staff are in much need of customer care training and rooms were very hot and some facilities didn't work ie a flushing toilet that wasn't fixed even after being reported.Hotel parking is not adequate (approx 10 places) and alternative parking is expensive - NCP Car Park.
