    The helpfulness of Reception, Bar and Restaurant Staff. Also the room was comfortable and the value for money good, especially so close to London.

    Breakfast - poor toaster - and only 1 selection of egg all week it was the same fried egg - no poached or scrambled. No skimmed milk available. Quality of food on menu in the evening can only be described as below what we expected.

    The only good comment I can make is that we got a good internet rate of £55 - the breakfast was good.

    We pre-booked this especially to attend a wedding. Prior to booking we asked what time the room would be available as it was an early wedding and we needed to access our room by 11:00 am. We were advised it would not be a problem and the room would more than likely be ready. We rang in the morning to check availability and was told our room was still not ready. We eventually arrived at the hotel at 11:45 - our room was still not ready. We were then given a twin room. The room had 3 beds in it - is stank of smoke - the room was very tired and of a very poor quality although it was clean. As the wedding bus was leaving at 12:15 pm we had no option but to accept the room. The whole place needs a re-vamp. We ordered some sandwiches on our return to the hotel, they were of a very poor quality and overpriced - then you are wacked with a £2 Tray Service charge - I'd rather go without!!!

    Close to the Wedding Reception we attended and reasonably priced.

    Could not get a cold drink on our return to the hotel (vending machines would be extremely useful!) and could not have a shower in our room, as it was impossible to get the temperature correct...it was either boiling hot or freezing cold!!!

    The Hotel is 20 mins far from the Central Line Station, on foot, therefore, not so "close to the station" as the internet presentation says.

    "Not sure if we would stay there again.It was convenient for our daughter's wedding, and the only local place available.The travel inn/lodge are far supier,and cost almost the same.We paid just under £70 for our elderly mother to have her own room, but was not worth the money." (108052971)

    Tatty but VERY clean.The staff seem to work hard.

    Cracks in hand basin in bathroom...rusty looking plug hole.Very tatty carpet. At breakfast we noticed the eggs were very dry and rubbery looking, so asked for fresh ones. They arrived about 10 minutes later and were the same. Only one side of the toaster worked which delayed having it fresh and hot with the breakfast, as there were several people in the queue.By the time we got our toast our breakfast was cold.

    The room was very comfortable and clean

    Constant noise from traffic right outside the room. Also a group of 4 came in at 2.00pm and continued to slam doors and be very loud until about 4.00pm - no consideration at all. We had very little sleep despite asking them to be quiet.

    Good location and plenty of parking.

    The breakfast was very disappointing, not replenished, had to ask for more bacon,eggs,beans, tomatoes and then waited nearly 10 minutes. Had to ask for tea and coffee, staff we not friendly at all. No night bar, just told that the bar was closed.

    "Breakfast was stone cold. Bar shut down at 10 pm although drinks were available to order at reception. Quality of breakfast poor and dining room needs upgrading. Security into the bedroom block is nil and was a concern. The location to the Underground Station is a big help to this hotel" (97396812)

    Faulty radiator, only discovered after we'd unpacked, no offer of help to move baggage to another room, Requested cot wasnt waiting in our room. New room had ajoining door between rooms which was unlocked, access to occupied room was possible

    "We booked the hotel at last minute because the B&B we had booked earlier had to be cancelled due to personal circumstances of the proprietor. We were v. pleased with the price and due to change of flight arrived quite late (although we had warned the hotel). This was fine, reception staff were v. friendly and helpful. As we said, the hotel did look a bit tired from the outside but our room was clean, comfortable and adequate for an over night stay. We weren't thinking of holidaying there." (97821225)

    Nothing really, the hotel building looked a bit tired from the outside but our room was very good especially for the price we paid £49 incl breakfast.

    "Booking in was a bit of a farce, and long winded. I understand the receptionist was a trainee but she didn't really look at the confirmation of booking I produced which if she had would have avoided embarrassment to all parties. it wasn't made clear for an age that one room had been paid for at the booking stage and the other needed to be paid for on arrival. Although perhaps I should have realised that is what a prepaid mega deal mean't" (97808233)

    "We had a good 2 nights stay at this hotel. Lovely size room,nice to have table and chairs in the room. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast great.
