"Pleasant and enjoyable." (107163950)
Good central location for my point of business contacts. Friendly staff. Room attendant was very polite.
There should be a Telephone Directory in the rooms. The restaurant staff had us waiting for one hour to receive a small order for dinner.

Close to where I needed to be..walk in shower..
Could not a drink or something to eat at 9.45 on a Sunday night in July! Had to go across the road to a shop...no newspapers although room booklet said I could go to club room relax and read the papers!

"Good hotel, nice area. Would stay there again. Large room that was adequate for three." (108082604)
I had to change the reservation due to my mistake and had no problems. Very quiet area well located for us. Clean, well decorated. Good breakfast ,cheaper than advertised.Looked after our luggage so we didn't have to carry it around London which was great.
A better selection of tea/coffee making items would be nice ie hotchoc and not nescafe coffee as this is vile and some milk! Towels quite small.

"Yes it was fine and good value." (108005404)
Very clean, pristine infact! I am fussy so this is my biggest plus for the hotel. It was modern orderly efficient and well thought out.I wanted for nothing more in the room but a bit more space. I had the basic standard with queen bed.I believe there are bigger rooms which i should think were very good
If i were to stay more than a few hours in my room I would ask for an upgrade as I am used to a little bit more space. Hotel room as standard was compact but had everything you would need for a stay.

1)excellent location 2)good room;good sized soap tray in shower (one of my betes noires in hotels!) 3)efficient rapid checkout 4)very good quality dinner in restaurant and impeccable service
1)poor breakfast;scrambled egg wishy-washy,coffee diabolical at an American chain! 2) not much evidence of newspapers, tea or coffee in what I assume was the Club Room

"THE HOTEL WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN, WITH FRIENDLY STAFF ON HAND TO HELP, THE ELECTRONIC CHECK IN CHECK OUT SERVICE WAS EASY AND QUICK TO USE, ALTHOUGH RECEPTION STAFF WERE AVAILABLE WITH ANY ASSISTANCE, THE HOTEL ITSELF IS IN AN IDEAL LOCATION BEING NEXT TO ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL & ABOUT 5 MINS WALK TO ST PAULS TUBE STATION ON THE CENTRAL LINE SO THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS OF LONDON ARE A SHORT JOURNEY AWAY, THE TOWER OF LONDON IS ALSO ONLY A SHORT 10 MIN WALK, LEICESTER SQUARE AND THE WEST END BEING ONLY A SHORT TUBE OR BUS JOURNEY. IN SHORT IT WAS A COMFORTABLE WELL PRESENTED HOTEL CLOSE TO ALL AMENETIES AND TOURIST ATTRACTIONS. IDEAL FOR THE FIRST TIME VISITOR TO LONDON AND SEASONED TRAVELLER ALIKE." (97305730)
IT WAS VERY CENTRAL TO THE HEART OF LONDON, WITH EXCELLENT ROOMS AND STAFF

"The hotel is clean, efficient and in a great position, which is why we chose it. It is very much a business hotel, and as such, everything is to a high standard (such as a very good shower) but it is rather impersonal. The double bedroom was quite compact and was more geared to the single occupancy of a businessman/women during the week than for a couple during the weekend. For instance, there was only one comfortable chair and it was more 'desk' than 'dressing table', with no mirror. There was only pack with paper napkin/plastic stirrer, just two tea bags and no tea spoons. Also, there was only one soap/shampoo/shower gel. The information about the hotel on the internet said there was free tea and coffee served in the club lounge, but when we enquired, we were informed that this was during the week only. These are only small quibbles, but it is the little touches that make a weekend break that bit more special. The staff were helpful and looked after our bags after checkout so we could enjoy the rest of the day in London and ordered a taxi on our behalf to return to the station." (97467922)
The hotel was in an excellent position, near to St Paul's Cathedral and the room was quiet. Nice bed linen. The staff were efficient and friendly

"When booking this hotel was a little caution about the low price in such a central location. On arrival the staff checked us in quickly and were helpful when asking for info on various subject. Room spotless, lots of kitchen equipment but no small spoons, which was strange. Everything was very clean and in immaculate condition. Great hotel for sightseeing and only a short walk from the tube and the Millenium Bridge, Tate Modern and obviously St Pauls. Would definatley visit again the next time for a little longer." (97174997)
Great Location, Spotless Rooms and Great Vle for Money
Fire Alarm at 8.30am, but not really the hotels fault.

"The location was excellent and the hotel was clean and efficient. Would have been nice to have been able to get drinks onsite or to have a mini bar for that. The location of the ironing boards, etc could have been better signposted. Could do with better soundproofing - could hear everything that was going on. Service was very efficient." (97293189)
Location was perfect - less than 15 minutes walk to the offices I was working in the following day.
The restaurant closed at 9pm (Sunday) and there was no mini bar or room service for any drinks (could order out for food until 11pm but would have been good to be able to have drinks onsite).

The location was excellent. The staff was very nice and the room was fairly large. We stayed in a triple and we had enough room. Wireless connection was great.
The breakfast did not come with the room and was quite expensive.

"My only two reservations about this hotel are 1. the partition panel walls between rooms are very thin and not well sound insulated, we got lucky as our neighbours were quiet and we only heard the occasional muffled laughter, however might have been a different story if they had decided to turn up the tv volume etc. 2. there is no bar in the hotel, however the small lounge area is quite pleasant." (97107276)
Central location is excellent and the room was quiet, clean and nicely appointed.
The fire alarm which went off as we were packing prior to departure, this turned out to be a false alarm.

"This hotel is near a tube stop. It is very safe. It is very central. It is comfortable and value for money. The staff are nice. There are some extra features that set it apart from other hotels such as cold water dispensers and bottling stations, all complementary. As hotels for city breaks go it's probably the best one I've ever stayed in and I will be looking to sister hotels in different countries for futher breaks." (97252309)
The bed was huge and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. there was room to relax and watch television etc.
There was a noise that was annoying me at night. It sounded like a motor or a fan. Saying that my boyfriend couldn't hear it. And I always fell asleep anyway.

"I would very much like to have known about your hotel before booking my last half dozen trips to London. The service you provide is more fit for purpose than the five-star well-known hotels where I have stayed in the recent past. The facilities including the meeting rooms render the place ideal for my needs and, I imagine, for the needs of any serious professional who wants to be well looked after and allowed to work rather than to be pampered." (97883175)
It was centrally sited and well-set up for the business user. The desk in the room was the best indication that the place had been designed for those who have to work. The condidtions werre far from Spartan but it felt as if no expense had been wasted on any compromise with holiday use.
The desk light in my room did not work and could not be fixed -- a very minor problem because the lighting in the room was gernerally good enough.

Brilliantly located near to 2 tube stations which helps immensely with getting there and then travelling around London.
