"Overall it was fine. The Atrium isn't easy to find if you're in a car but it is centrally located. The accommodation was spacious and well-equipped but is in need of refurbishment." (97392337)
Central location, proximity to car parking, spacious.
Room rather tired. Could do with redecoration and a dose of air freshener!

"Overall, we were very impressed. Although we were only staying there for one night, we were very comfortable and very impressed with the apartment." (97125037)
Very friendly receptionist at check in, with a lovely manner. She also phoned us later that evening to make sure we were happy with the room. The studio apartment we had was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the facilities first class, the room was lovely and clean and the shower was lovely and powerful!! Excellent location as well, very easy to find.
There was a breakfast box available at a very reasonable price. The only reason I didn't purchase this was that I only have skimmed milk, and this option wasn't available. The lifts were a bit slow, but as we were on the 2nd floor this wasn't a problem as we could walk. It would've also been nice if the hotel had a deal with the NCP car park for a discounted parking rate.

"Brilliant, great, friendly staff, ready to help. Facilities were stellar. And price was cheaper than the YHA! " (97073183)
Having a mini-apartment, with a full kitchen allowed us to create a gourmet dinner. A quick trip downstairs and we had a library of DVDs to choose from, this made for a terrific night in. Perfection after a 4 hour drive!
Being on the first floor meant we were near the busy road. Bit loud.

"The receptionists were friendly and polite. Parking cost £13 for 24 hours but the carpark was only a couple of minutes walk away and we paid for parking at the hotel reception with no hassle. The room was clean and comfortable and a kitchenette gave us the option of catering for ourselves. The room was more like a bedsit than a hotel room. We felt a longer stay would have enabled us to make more use of the facilities. We would use this hotel again." (97429202)
It was convenient for city centre shopping. Cooking facilities in the room were useful if we didn't want to eat out. Good for longer stays.

"The apartment was great with all amenities needed. Just one thing ...we had asked for a cot for our one year old (who in the end we decided not to take with us on holiday) but to our surprise we didnt find a proper baby cot but only a playpen, she would have never slept there. This was not specified when we booked online." (97490721)
We really liked the apartment, our daughter actually thought its our new home !!

"The place is clean, efficient and extremely central, but it's a short-stay apartment block, not a hotel - for example, my room wasn't serviced at any point during my three-night stay, but to be fair it was immaculate and well equipped on my arrival. However, there's no room service, bar, gym etc. that you'd expect from a similarly rated hotel - but then, it is about half the price of one. On the down-side, it's no use for light sleepers as the price you pay for the location is a constant roar of road noise. Double glazing and air-con would have made a big difference here, and it was disappointing that neither were available. Still, overall it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, and very good value for money." (97995848)
It was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The reception staff were efficient and the location of the place is fantastic.
It was very noisy - it's on the corner of two major roads and there's secondary glazing, not double glazing. There was also no air-con, so if the weather was good you had to open all the windows (thus making it noisier) or the place turned into an oven. The room was not serviced during my 3-night stay, although to be fair it was immaculate when I arrived.

"the hotel was excellent it was very clean it had everything we required in the room. I really liked the idea of a tv and the radio that was in the room. And the kitchenette it was perfect. About after 10 minutes in the room we recieved a call of a member of staff asking if everything was ok which i thought was excellent customer service. We are looking to come back ath the end of july for my partners birthday and hopefuly stay again at this hotel. Also it was right next to canal street which was perfect as thats where we were going for a night out, and it was only 5 minutes walk from the train station and the town. I really couldn't fault anything. I have already recommended this hotel to many of my friends. Thankyou for making my weekend even more enjoyable." (97901810)
Everything it was excellent the rooms were very nice i was susprised to have so many facilities availble especailly in the room.

the facilities in the hotel were great.
We chose to stay until 4PM and pay the extra £15 as agreed with the lady on reception. We then leaft the room about 2PM to go to the shops and when we returned to our room found that the card had infact been disactivated as of 11AM. Also the phone rang at 11:15 which woke both me and my partener up, which was frustrating seeing as we'd already arranged with reception to keep the room until 4PM. The fire alarm also went off for around 1 Minute with no explanation.

"The hotel is excellent. the cleanliness is excellent. The staff were superb and very very helpful. The only real drawback to the hotel is the fact that there is no restaurant or room service, however there are plenty of eating establishments in the area. They also do not have car parking facilities of there own and you have to pay for parking in a public car park behind the hotel. The hotel is difficult to find if you are new to Manchester as the one way system is very confusing but the staff do do their best to try to direct you in. Overall a very pleasing stay." (97569428)
The accommodation was superb. Everything was neat, tidy and in excellent order. The staff were kind and extremely helpful. Couldn't fault them.
Just the fact that there was no restaurant or room service and that the hotel was difficult to find.

It was like home form home and the facilities were excellent
The only fault I could pick was that the room we were in overlooked the multi storey car park and the lights from there were on all night and we could still see them through our blinds but it would not put me off staying again.

"The location of the accommodation was fantastic. We were in the heart of everything. The staff were lovely and we were very impressed how modern and spacious our accommodation was. We also did not want for anything -the room had everything you could have wished for. The only minus points were the fact that our room was not serviced after the first night. Also we were overlooking Canal Street and we found this area quite noisy after midnight." (97656374)
The room was lovely -very spacious and modern.
Our room was overlooking canal street and although the windows were double glazed, we still found it quite noisy after 1am. Also we left the tag requesting to service our room after the first night but this was not done.

"Pleasently surprised about the standard of the accommodation." (97367980)
Great location. Excellent standard of accommodation, very good value for money.
Reception/Check in staff not very friendly, almost a bit agressive, same went for the guy delivering the breakfast basket. Not a smiling welcoming face which is a shame as they let the hotel down. I think it was a bit of a cultural thing, whatever happened to the good old British service with a smile attitude. You really got the impression they couldn care less about their job and they were talking to you in a very agressive tone of voice, although it might not have been meant like that but that's how it came across.

Clean, spacious, everything worked, staff extremely helpful, particularly the gentleman on night duty.
Room was rather noisy - street level - traffic and humans making quite a lot of noise. Would have preferred a room either higher up or further away from noise.

"Overall a great stay. I found the staff to be helpful & knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The hotel is in an excellent location with plenty of good bars & restaurants within easy walking distance. The city centre shops are also close by. The room was very spacious compared to a conventional hotel room and also comparatively well equipped. Both the hotel & room were clean and felt very fresh throughout. I will certainly be staying here again." (97174416)

The level of cleanliness was excellent, and was maintained during the stay. Very central location, ideal for business. Overall the hotel was perfect for an extended business stay, and unlike most hotels, it had a very relaxed feeling that made it a pleasure to be there. Highly recommended." (97279334)

"The hotel was for the most part as described, the room was modern and well fitted out but was starting to look a little shabby... The paint was pealing on the bathroom ceiling and the caulking around the bath starting to turn black.. For the price we paid it was ok.. had I paid full price I would not have thought so.." (97178655)
Good overall facilities, everything worked and the room was clean.
We stayed in a non-smoking room, however someone must have been smoking on the same floor as you could smell it in our room and the corridor was like walking through a rooom of smokers. There was also no where to pull up outside of the hotel so if you have a lot of luggage this may not be for you..
