    Staff were helpful. Good location. Near Gibraltar.

    Hotel is in need of refurbishment.

    "we would stay at this hotel again, it was a nice walk into gibralter. able to see first thing from your private balcony on a morning was great." (97460856)

    the hotel was clean, we were able to see the sea from our rooms,there were restuarants near by, staff were helpful, especially Manuel.we liked the fact that pets were welcome.drinks were not over priced.

    the only let down was that there were no tea making facialities in the rooms.

    It was ok good view of the rock and sea

    The Area was a bit Rough the hotel was looking tiard needed the perifaral areas cleaned ok for a one night stay the balcony was not cleaned all week

    "This was a very good base to visit the Rock of Gibraltar. Only about 30 mns walking from the border.It added another dimension to our visit, we feel as we had two holidays in one. I only wish I could speak more Spanish!" (3304100159)

    Very good value. Rooms very good and quite spacious with a balcony looking over the sea and the rock of gibraltar.

    "an overall plasent stay apart from the rain, easy check and friendly and understanding staff. stayed an additional 2 nights further and was happy with the ease of the process. just wish i was able to speak a little bit more spanish than hola. will improve before my next stay." (2840092)

    "The booking service we used was excellent and we had sufficient info to know what the hotel was like There is very little we could have asked for other than that was supplied. Thank you for a very nice stay" (99234598)

    The location was excellentand the staff were very helpful The breakfast was very good but you should change the coffee you use in the machine it taste very much like the cheap powdered type

    There was a problem in both the rooms occupied. 101 and 114 in the middle of the night we were all awoken by the moving of furniture which sounded like workmen.There is also one other point we noticed that the hotel was not full but we were given rooms at the back where as if we had been given rooms with aview we would have been even more likly to extend our stay that is not to say that we would not return but that the group may wish to consider its room allocation policy.

    Clean and tidy room. good location to beach.

    Get rid of the barking dog from reception. Keep the breakfast room tidier. Staff could smile on occasion and be a bit more attentive.

    "Although the room price was cheap for the area (45 euros per night, with tax), the room was rather shabby with pain peeling from the walls and ceiling for example. Cleaning could have been better - there was hair on the floor from a previous occupant which had been missed during the bathroom clean up. The check-in staff were merely courteous rather than friendly. No internet access. Parking okay on the street and it has an underground car park too. Breakfast nothing to write home about."     hotel needs to be completely re-decorated - paint peeling, furniture shabby. Also, needs internet capability in rooms OR internet centre in a communal area. Breakfast poor.

    Excellent price, very clean and basic but good room with a side view of the Rock of Gibraltar. Staff very helpful especially in trying to book a car from a sleepy local company who weren't answering their phone at 9.30 on Saturday morning! Good, reasonably priced restaurant.

    Many guests will find the area a litle run down for their liking, but the promenade is being extensively renovated (May 2005), the beach is excellent, views spectacular and it's an excellent base for touring Gibraltar, the southwestern end of the Costa del Sol and day trips to Morocco.

    "As it as our first stay at this hotel and because i booked it on the internet; i was a little aprehensive when the local taxi was driving us there. Other buildings in the area looked run down and dirty but the Medditeraneo was different. Once inside i was very happy with my choice. The rooms we had (208) was very spacious and clean and had an excellent view. The staff were helpful and aided me along with my very poor spanish. ( learn basic spanish ) they'll love you for your effort." (2029559)

    "We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, however, we would have liked to have the menu printed in English as well as Spanish. Could do with more parking spaces and the main road was quite noisey at times, however, we felt the hotel was very good value for money and would definately stay there again.
