"We checked in quite late - around 9.45pm - and were relieved to be welcomed by a team of staff who really made us feel welcome. Although we were quite tired, we still wanted to have a quick dinner in the restaurant. All too often at this time of day, hotel guests are made to feel rushed - not here! We were invited to settle in our bedroom, freshen up and comde down for dinner at our convenience. This is indeed what we did and we finally sat at our table at 10.30pm. Again, there was no rush and in fact, we experienced one of the best meals we have had for a long time. Everything about this hotel was a joy - from the wonderful bedroom and huge bathroom to the little detail which all helped make our very short stay pleasurable. Being Relais & Châteaux followers, we rate our experience at Longueville Manor as one of the best. Having never been to Jersey before, we are already planning a return visit during August and will of course go back to Longueville manor. What a discovery?" (3304892904)

    "Will 100% recommend. 10/10." (97861967)

    - Quality to bedroom and bathroom - Little things like our name on the brochure when we arrived, the bottles of champagne and water waiting for us, the attention to details! One of the best experience I had in a hotel of this category.

The battery of the remote control was dead.

"The whole experience excceded our expactations; from arrival to departure staff were helpful and courteous. Service throughout the hotel was faultless, the restaurant staff in particular appeared determined to improve on faultless! A great place to go to unwind , relax in a discretely professional style." "We found all of the hotel staff to be excellant, loved the facilities and complete ambience. Would certainly return, definately a 5 star rateing, excellant food." (3304176073)

Actually we were impressed with the cottage, however we found our room to be far too small and very stuffy, the bathroom steamed up every time we used it.

    as above

"Having stayed a nuber of times we knew what to expect. Your room prices are fairly steep but it is understandable if you wish to maintian the standards." (3304579565)

Lovely gardens and lovely interior to the hotel

Nothing particular except the one of the bellmen was a little strange and the barman a little forward.

"All the information we read/found on the internet about the hotel prior to booking was acurate. You get a feel for the service and atmosphere of the hotel by doing the research and I feel that all the publicity we read gave us a real understanding of the facilities and standard of the hotel (which are excellent). Location was the only thing we though was a little misleading. In the brochure we found the hotel in (Jersey Tourism), in stated that the hotel was in the countryside, but obviously when we arrived we realized it was in St Saviour (built up, residential area near St Helier). This was fine as the grounds and rooms were quiet, but we didn't ralise it was so close to a town area. Worth knowing if you do wish to be in the middle of no-where, but the hotel grounds to the rear of the property are well worth a daily walk(lots of wildlife within the wooded area)." (3304318015)

Everything within the hotel was superb, the food and service was exceptional, the room was romantic and extremely comfortable. In particlaur I enjoyed sharing the room with Champers the soft toy dog and Oscar (as we named him) our trusted, faithful room key guardian! Also feel in love with Perrier the tabby with a few tales to tell about guests (I suspect!). Grounds and pool area were beautifully clean and tidy and we would recommend the hotel for a luxury break to anyone.

Nothing. It was all excellent, a memorable experience.

"We have been staying in Longueville Manor since 1974. If anything it has improved since our last stay in 2002. The accommodation is excellent. ALL the staff are most helpful and willing. Food is excellent with a varied menu for each meal. The wine list is exceptional with some of the worlds best wines to choose from. We rate this hotel as amongst the finest in the world and it deserves all the accolades it gets. We would not hesitate to return and would recommend to anyone wanting a special holiday." "Having arrived at the hotel early in the morning, hoping just to deposit our luggage, the reception staff were extremely helpfull. I was asked if we would like some breakfast, which was unexpected, and was also informed that although we were not due to arrive until 2pm our room would be ready for us in 5 minutes. This was an excellent start to a very enjoyable stay. We had travelled to visit our daughter in Jersey, the attention to detail and helpfullness of the staff ensured that we could focus our attention on enjoying ourselves. Thank you for a very comfortable and relaxing stay." (3304216305)

Immediately upon arrival we felt extremely comfortable and able to relax as though we had just walked through our own front door.

The addition of an indoor pool would enhance the overall experience.

"Everything i needed to know i knew on arrival. It was a real treat having our bed opened every evening. Food was delicious especially breakfast - My boyfriend certainly did as he tried pretty much everything. All rooms are individually decorated which adds character to the hotel. All staff were helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly reccommend it." (3304112581)

We were upgraded on arrival so had an excellent room. Beautifully and individually decorated.

    Outstanding, sometimes smothering service.

    Quietness and organisation.

"The hotel was everything we expected it to be and found your staff to be friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would certainly recommend the hotel to others if they wanted 'a get away from it all holiday'. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary - thank you very much." (2319882)

Very clean, very comfy and friendly staff.

There were no coffee or tea making facilities within the rooms. These all had to be ordered as room service. Also, having firends that are slightly disabled, i could not recommend the hotel unless they were accomodated on the ground floor.
