"I was very well received, and the hotel served my need for somewhere to overnight, but had I needed to be rested the next day, the paper thin walls would not have allowed for an undisturbed night's sleep." (97693520)

The bathroom was apparently very clean.

The bed sagged in the middle, the duvet cover and curtains had cigarette burns, the walls were paper thin.

there was no hairdryer in my room which i told reception about before we went out. When we returned the receptionist had got me one which I thought was very efficient and helpful.

the very steep hill you had to climb at the end of the night not ideal for people with walking difficulties

Hotel was kind of dowdy but the beds were comfy, linen was clean, room was made up daily, coffee/tea maker in room. All the basics, no frills. No ice, no elevator, no smiles." (97923358)

"For a budget stay in Glasgow, I would certainly recommend this hotel." (99354732)

The accommodation, whilst being fairly basic was clean and tidy and the staff were helpful. There is space for a nice patio to the rear of the hotel which would be lovely to relax in if garden seating was provided!

I think the hotel is probably a bit off the beaten track for the elderly, this part of the city has some steep hills to climb.

"THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME TOO GLASGOW,WE FELT WE PICKED A GOOD HOTEL TO START FROM AS IT WAS VERY CLOSE TO THE SHOPS AND PUBS BUT WAS JUST BACK FROM THE MAIN STREET FOR A PEACEFULL NIGHTS SLEEP,AS I SAID BEFORE I THINK FOR THE MONEY YOU PAY ITS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY," (99432151)

THE HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION AND HAD EVERYTHING THAT WE NEEDED,WE HAD AN UPSTAIRS ROOM FACING THE FRONT STREET SO WE HAD THE SUNSHINE FIRST THING ON THE MORNING WHICH WAS NICE,STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFULL,WE WERE PLEASED WITH OUR STAY AND FOR THE PRICE WE PAID YOU COULD'NT ASK FOR MORE.

MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT THE PARKING MIGHT BE A PROBLEM AT MORE BUSY TIMES OF YEAR AS YOU HAD TOO PARK IN THE STREET,BUT THERE MIGHT HAVE BEEN A CARPARK NEARBY.
