"Excellent hotel and one we will certainly use again. Very convenient for CDG Airport as it right next to St Michel RER lineB station. For the same reason, very convenient for the Stade de France which was our reason for visiting Paris. Rooms were spotless and well furnished ,'compact' in typically Parisian style and very French.Reception staff very friendly and helpful. You need to know that it's in a very lively area but it's also only a short stroll from some real history and terrific culture. Truly super location. Excellent value." (3305442981)

"The hotel is in an excellent position close to all the major attractions and transport. Getting from CDG airport to the hotel was a breeze with the RER. The Metro is just on the doorstep. The room was larger than expected imaculately clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had clean sheets and plenty of clean towels every day. It is in a busy/lively area with lots of restaurants, bars and fast food places. We liked that and had no problem with noise. After a long tiring day it was great to just step outside the hotel and have plenty of choice as to where to eat without going far. We hope to return to Paris and will definately choose this hotel when we do." (3305393011)

"The hotel is easily accessible from CDG airport via RER B train which was a very reasonable 8 euros (return). Loads of nightlife and restaurants nearby. Room small but modern and clean. Communal areas of hotel very smart, nice breakfast for just 10 euros. Location of this hotel is ideal !!" (97427444)
Prximity to major sightseeing attractions such as Ntre Dame and the Louvre, as well as transport links (RER and Metro just 50 yards away)

"The location is perfect for a visit to reach all parts. The connection from the airport is simple and quick. We were in the heart of the Latin quarter with good restaurants, bars and sight-seeing. It just doesn't get any better than this!" (97810468)

Very convenient location. Room compact but very clean and tidy and reasonably quiet for location. All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room rate reasonable for the centre of Paris
Tea/Coffee making facility in room would have been appreciated.

"Hotel de l'Albe is a great hotel right in the middle of the St. Michel quarter which is a very lively and busy tourist area. The rooms are small, but very clean and efficient, with new flat-screen TVs! The staff we met were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, eager to give advice and directions in any language you needed! They also have a laptop computer that you can borrow and a 5E card for 45 minutes of internet connection - I loved that! The location was excellent; we walked to and from the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, St. Germain, the Marais. So many restaurants to choose from within a five or ten minute walk! The metro and RER line to Charles de Gaulle are only steps away. The only minor problem was street noise very late into the night on the weekend. The windows are very thick, but you can't keep every shout out at 3:00 am (as well as early morning trash pick-up!) My advice would be to get a room as high as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel or stay there again." (3305262187)
The location was excellent, very close to major sites like Notre Dame, St. Chapelle, the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, St. Germain des Pres. The staff was OUTSTANDING!
Room was small (although it was expected and not too uncomfortable) and the neighborhood was noisy late into the night.

"This hotel is in a great location just minutes from Notre Dame, close to shops, plenty of Greek restaurants and a metro stop right outside the front door. The hotel was bright and modern with great beds and bathroom. Plenty of room for all of us and our things. Though it is in a busy area, outdoor noise was not a problem. I would definately stay here again and would recommend it highly." (3304912972)

"I've stayed in Paris hotels before and came to expect dark and somewhat dingy environments. But this hotel was a refreshing surprise. From the bright, modern and simple lobby to the modern in-room bathroom, this hotel was by far the best I ever experienced in Paris. The location could not have been better. We climbed out of the Metro from the airport and was confronted with a brisk, cold wind and rain. After a few steps around the corner, the hotel was a welcoming sight. I will be staying here again... no doubt about that." (3304711570)
Location was excellent. Close to the Metro, fine dining, and Paris sites. The hotel was newly renovated and tastefully done. Overall the hotel had a bright, fresh ambiance. Did I mention the location? Excellent choice.

"Very pleased with this accomodation. Staff friendly and helpful and reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Our request that our rooms be on the same floor was granted. The provision of a safety deposit box in the room and a luggage room were very welcome. Despite the fact that the hotel is on the edge of the Latin Quarter - a very busy and noisy area - the room became 'sound proofed' once the windows were closed. We enjoyed warm weather and the air conditioning in the room proved very effective. I was on holiday with my Dad who is very particular about accomodation and he enjoyed his stay at Hotel D'Albe. Our rooms - 357 and 356 - had a wee view of the Seine from the balconies." (3304319637)
Very close to transport links and within walking distance of major attractions. High standard of cleanliness.
The high cost of renting a room for one person but this seems to be universal.

"The Albe Hotel is a perfect spot for those interested in waking up in the lively Latin Quarter of Paris. The streets are robust and full of people until at least one or two in the morning - restaurants start closing down at midnite but some are still available after that. Pubs and cafes abound, the Seine is only a half block away, and Notre Dame is just up the street. The Louvre is a short walk away. My wife and I had a great time staying at the Albe." (2794501)
The location was excellent - our room looked down upon the most active little street in the Latin Quarter. There were many cafes, restaurants and pubs right next to the hotel.
I was dissappointed that internet service was not part of the room price. I never got the hotel-sponsored wifi link to work although I could see the signal, but I did find another wifi link in the vicinity that worked well for the limited internet time I wanted with my laptop (and it didn't cost anything).

The Albe Hotel is superbly and tastefully refurbished to a very high standard. It also was in a fantastic location, literally 3 minutes from Notre Dame.i recommend getting a conrner room as this provided us with 3 opening French windows onto a charming pedestrianised Parisian Street full of hustle and bustle.Overall, 9 out of 10, so handy for everything: buses, Metro, RER and walking to Seine.
Lack of Coffee making facilities, but coffee shop downstairs
