Great location and quality of food and accommodation.

"Really enjoyed it and would recommend to family and friends. " (108073130)
I was very impressed with the room facilities - internet etc. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was really nice. The room was also very quiet in that you couldn't hear other guests.
Only one point that the air-conditioning was a bit rattly, but not enough to ruin your nights sleep.

"Your booking service was exceptional, it saved us a lot of money and we would definitely use you again. The Hotel was right on the doorstep of London Excel. It was very clean and spacious.Trains into London every 5 Mins £5.80 for a day ticketon the DLR and the underground. An Ideal spot. excellent bar and all you can eat breakfast, good value at only £7.50. The staff were extremely friendly and very approachable." (108088799)
Near to Excel London Trains on the doorstep Very clean nice staff very good food
drinks at the bar were a little expensive. Parking was £12.00 a day Lifts in hotel were a pain as the door cards did not seem to work in the lift slots.

"Good" (97266876)
Hotel was clean and we were able to check in early. A member of staff was very accommodating when we asked to have the grand prix on the TV in the bar. Breakfast was good.
There was only one person serving behind the bar who was serving another customer with a large coffee order. We had to wait at least 15 minutes to get served. Several staff walked by whilst we waited but nobody called for assistance. We then found out that what we wanted from the menu (pizza) was not available.

"Slightly noisy as we had to have window open due to the air con and was right next to the DLR." (97034123)
Lovely bed and pillows, very spacious and clean.
Air conditioning not working - room very hot and stuffy. Told it wasn't working on the entire floor but when we went out of our room the corridor was obviously air conditioned. Was given a fan but too small and inadequate.

"The hotel was in a nice location for the DLR and was nice and clean." (97281380)
Nice clean and spacious room. Also king size bed a good idea.
It stated that we could check into our rooms any time after 2pm. When we arrieved at around 2.45pm we were told our room wouldn't be ready for another 15 mins due a problem with bedding. We went into the bar and paid for some drinks. Another couple who came around 10 mins after us were also told that their room wasn't ready, but because they then complined they were given their drinks for free. We had been traveling since 9.00 am that morning and all we wanted to do when we got to the hotel was to have a quick drink in our room drop our bags off and then go back into London for the night. But we ended up having to wait a further 40 mins until our room was ready. If this were to happen again may be you could put some free tea and coffee on instead of people having to pay for their own drinks or someone only getting a free drink if they complain. We were also in a room right next to the railway line which you could still hear through the glass.

The room was clean, tidy and very welcoming. It was large and spacious and had plenty of room for our two young children. The bathroom contained a bath with a shower attachment which was fantastic - most only have a shower which is impractical with a baby. It was also lovely to be able to relax on the eve of the Flora London Marathon!! Couldn't ask for anything better.

"I was pleasantly surprised with the room. It was very well presented and somewhat spacious for what one would expect of a Travel Inn. However, as I was only staying for one night, I can't comment on the service of the room/cleaning staff, etc. One criticism i would have is having to pay for parking. However, the overall experience was a very pleasant one." (99521041)
The room was surprisingly spacious and well presented. Beds were particularly comfy and clean.
couldnt use Wi-fi internet in our room. Food wasn't of great standard. Having to pay for parking.

"One evening I had a very disappointing experience in the restaraunt, I was seated at 9.15 placed an order for sirloin steak and was told at 9.40 there was no sirloin. I then placed an order for fillet steak. At 10.10 I was tolde there was no steak at all. I left the restaraunt at 10.15 without having a meal. In compensation, I was later provided with a complimentary pizza at the bar." (99060623)

"I was asked if I was Ok with ground floor room and I had no objections, but on reflection, would have preferred not to have been on ground floor. Surprised that there were no toiletries - but this was a mid budget hotel, so not really an issue. Everything else, was efficient and Ok for this level of hotel. As the hotel was next to Excel and the London Boat Show was happening - a good price for the room" (99867034)

On balance, would prefer not to have ground floor room

"I would recommend this hotel for people attending an event at the Excel Arena. However for other purposes I would not use this hotel again as there was not enough bar staff to cope early or late evening and i asked for my money back on the food I ordered as it was awful. Also housekeeping woke us up at 9.00 am even though check out was not until midday." (99865246)

"It was generally OK for a 1 night stay - but the check in could & should have been quicker as I had already booked and put all my information through on line - we shouldn't need to be kept standing there for this unusual length of time. I would recommend that directions be given on the confimation notice to ensure foot guests are aware of the correct station to alight. I would say that the overall cleanliness was up to the usual standard expected from a Premier Inn - and would recommend it on that basis." (99717500)
The cleanliness was good and the room was comfotable The late night bar staff were very attentive.
The length of time the check in took and the fact that we had to wait a long time for hot food at breakfast time - extremely slow!

"I think all I needed to know was provided online. Generally my stay was a positive one.I was only disappointed by the service at the restuarant where I stood in the queue for close to 1hr for my supper and could not get a couple of listed items on the menu card. The duty manager wrote us a letter of apology though but I think the situation will cost you future business." (3304977507)
The beds were comfortable and room clean and tidy. The opening of the restuarant up to 1am was a plus.
I did not like having to be charged for parking during the day. The service in the restuarant/bar was not up to standard. Some items on the menu list were not available when you ask for them. The breakfast times on Sunday should be the same as week days i.e 7-11am. I am used to SKY television at home and I could not have it during my stay.

"The hotel summary when I booked said close to O2 arena. Taxi (as above)was eighteen pounds. If I was attending the excel centre I would stay at this hotel again but not for any other London event." (97269724)
Good size rooms, pleasant decor, good security, pleasant staff, nice pub next door.
Hotel has a working relationship with a local taxi firm. Liverpool street station - eight minute drive - 22 pounds. I'd consider that excessive.
