The hotel was everything I was looking for and a little more. I can fully recommend this hotel and know that I shall frequent it again, very soon." (99580608)

Very friendly, clean and quite reasonably priced for the area. The hotel was also just off the main road and so was also very quiet and relaxed.

Not so much a dislike but breakfast did appear a little pricey! However it was excellent.

The hotel allowed us to check in an 2 hours early and check out an hour late. Don't normally write reviews but this hotel really deserves praise!" (99445867)

The hotel is extremely modern and has a boutique feel which is kept very clean. The room was good, of reasonable size with an lcd tv and the bose stereo system as described. Good sized toilet that was clean and well done. Importantly the shower could actually mix hot & cold water!

Safe and quiet location but a little distance away from the tube station. Approximately 1 kilometre away from gloucester road and atleast 1.5 away from hight street kensington

"I was very happy with our stay and so was my partner. We did arrive a little early and were made to feel very welcome whlie we waited.A lot of high class hotels are pretentious and make you feel a little uncomfortable if you don't look like you're supposed to be staying there but we weren't made to feel like that at all." (99778706)

The executive suite was excellent, really clean and high quality facilities. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in,felt comfortable and completely spoiled, very luxurious.

It would've been slightly better value for money if breakfast was included.

"When we flew to London this time, we were anxious to see the hotelroom, because our last stay in London was ruined due to a stay at another very very bad hotel. But when we arrived in this hotel, it was a different world. We entered and immediately a smiling and friendly guy came to the door to help us with the luggage and to guide us to the reception. We were also warmly welcomed at the reception. Since we had arrived much before check-in time, we just wanted to leave our luggage in the hotel and explore a bit of London, but surprisingly our room was already ready. So the friendly guy guided us to our room....we were waiting with much anticipation to see the room and were really relieved when he opened the door. It was a standard room, but it was quite large, big king-size bed with 1 mattress (not the usual 2 small beds on wheels that are just put together... The decoration was quite modern, light-coloured wood. Nice dark wallpaper on one wall and the rest in a decent beige colour. Then we noticed some stairs (about 5 or 6). Going up there we discovered the very lovely bathroom. It had a bathtub/shower combination, a toilet, sink.. but all quite modern and stylish. Beige tiles on wall and floor, lighter coloured ceiling and a big window with frosted glass. It was also quite big. In the room they had a 26 LCD flatscreen TV with 40 (forty!!!) TV-channels (not the usual 5 you normally get) and a Bose sound system... which sounded very nice. So after a while, we left and when we came back in the evening, we went to our room and noticed it was warmish in the room. We tried the air-conditioning but it didn’t seem to cool much. So we opened the windows which could only be opened a very small bit. We were too tired to ask if anyone could check the air-conditioning... In the morning after a quite warm night, we told the receptionist we were not sure if the air-conditioning was working. She said she would have it looked at. After seeing more of London, we got back in the early evening. When we got to our room they had a big fan standing outside the room. We entered the room and there was an envelope on my pillow. It contained a letter saying I should call reception concerning the air-conditioning. I called and they offered two options: Either we could take the big fan, or they could give us another (better) room. We opted for the other room, so after packing we were lead to another room. We entered and were surprised again because it was an even larger room than we had before and noticeably the airco was working here. So we stayed another lovely night in the hotel. Next morning we checked out and again we were surprised how friendly the personnel were. Pros: Unbelievably friendly and capable personnel Quite big room size for a standard room Very modern and stylish rooms Nice location (a smallish street) 5 minutes walk to tube 2 minutes walk to a Sainsbury’s Reasonably priced for London Cons: None" (3305147960)

The room was very nicely decorated and well equipped, and the bathroom was very comfortable with a large bath and power shower. The bed was also very comfortable. Ruby's bar was pleasant, the cocktails were delicious.

There were communication problems between us and some of the staff due to their limited English. The room was a bit hot.

new amenities in an old building. everything was fresh and clean on the indside. good size room with plasma tv.

the hotel's restaurant was pricey (for a USA citizen). Fortunately, there are a large number of restaurants within walking distance that are not as expensive.

Piano cocktail bar was nice -- though cocktails were a bit pricy (maybe not for London, but for us!). Didn't stop us having a couple of amaretto sours though. We had it to ourselves as well! All in all, it was just a really nice hotel, very modern decor, and pristine. LCD TV in the room was a nice touch, bathroom was excellent with great power shower, marble all over the place, and bathrobes." (3304544593)
