    Good value hotel, handy for city.

    I had booked three rooms, but the hotel only reserved two. This caused some problems for a colleague. The hotel admitted their mistake the next day. Hairdryer in room was broken, bare metal was showing and was very dangerous.

    room clean,bright.decent size ironing board and iron in room.underground parking faciliites although cost £6-95. big comfy leather sofa's in reception area and bar.

    breakfast nothing spectacular and not included in price. limited options on tv/radio. had to ask for toiletries/shower cap/extra towels at reception. reception staff seemed a little harrassed/stressed.

    Lovely new building & the most comfortable beds ever!

    The wifi didn't work in our room but it did downstairs and when we asked the desk guy he was very unhelpful & told me it must be my internet settings, bit odd being that I have a mac and there are no internet settings to change, I walk into a room and it either picks up a network or it doesn't, it did downstairs so why should it be any different in our room

    When walking down the corridor to our room there was lots of dirty linen outside of the rooms and also dirty crockery outside our room from the previous guests room service. Having to pay £12.00 to park my car at the hotel.

    "not very good valve for money. The staff directed me to a car park by the Hilton Hotel some 5 minutes walk away. The car park did not permit over night parking and cost £10 a day. I found a closer non-secure parking area close by myself. I would not stay there again." (97044274)

    Room was smart clean with a good bathroom and shower

    my light van did not fit the parking area (limited hight 1.9m my vanis 2.2) I did ask in advance for parking for my vehicle. In the warm weather the window had to be open to provide a draft, the road noise from the main kept me awake most of the night.

    "I must mention the reception staff. Through my own fault, I turned up with no booking for that night ( having booked the wrong night on-line). The reception staff were very helpful and quickly found me another room at the same price, saving me endless hassle and distress (I was due to attend an important job interview the next morning)."     "In my own opinion i along with my companions found this hotel to exceed our expectations. staff were wonderful and helpful even though we never got the safe fixed the hotel was very security conscious. The bar was very relaxing and the restaurant was fabulous. even though I'm a frequent visitor to Leeds i wasn't quiet sure of the hotels location and was under the illusion it was closer to the city center. but taxi journeys were 5 -10 Min's into the center of Leeds and being that little further out we reaped the benefit of minimal traffic noise. all in all a very stress free break!"     clean, comfortable, spacious and modern. Breakfast was at superb value and top quality food. Staff from all areas were friendly and polite.

    My safe did not work i reported it to reception immediately but it was never dealt with. The bath drain was blocked and took 10 Min's to drain with long dark hair bubbling back up,(not a pleasant sight first thing in the morning). However, reception was informed and unlike the safe the offending follicle blockage had been freed!

It is so important to stay somewhere nice and comfortable when you are away from your own creature comforts and I truly feel The Bewleys Hotel offered all that I expect from a good quality hotel.     The room was really spacious, had a brilliant freshlook about it and was extremely clean! Some of the very important things that I normally expect when staying in a hotel.

    I wish hotels (not just yours but all of them!) would keep decent tasting coffee in the rooms. And it would be nice for someone from reception to offer a hand as i always have loads of paper work with me which can get very heavy by the time I reach the room.

    New, clean, good location

    Hotel seems to cater for large same sex groups and consequently ruined our nice day as we were kept awake for a couple of hours during the night due to the drunken behaviour of a group of young lads. On checking out the next morning, the same group were still drinking in the reception area and were very rude to other guests and hotel staff.

    I liked how it was conveniant. The hotel was in great condition. I liked the fact that you where never bothered by anything and had the chance to relax. We stayed for the first time last week and i would say with certainity that I will be using Bewleys more often. I liked the decor within the room, The selection and variety of food at breakfast and I also liked how friendly the staff were. Another Facility that was greatly appreciated was the selection and range of television channels that were available within the room for no extra cost. Over all 10/10! Thank you

    I didn't like the fact that the hotel could only be paid for when we were leaving. I would recommend taking the cost of the room as it is booked especially if it was booked online and you have the card details and then any extra costs such as meals to be paid for after because as a young student I booked the hotel when i had money in my account andI thought the money was going to be taken straight away. It was only by chance however that I used my own card as i was going to use a family members instead as i was not aware i would have to pay for the hotel after wards and if i had of used the family members card then i would not have been able to pay for it after i stayed as i would not have had the card with me.

    "The location was perfect for us as it was near most things especially the football ground which was a short taxi ride away. The restaurant/bar was also ideal as having my 13 yr old son with me didn't allow us to go into bars for food. The food was great in the hotel and staff were very helpful." (97442827)

    "The hotel was nice, but however, the staff was unable to answer a simple question correct. I booked 10 rooms for a SURPRISE party and rang up the hotel to ask them not to call my home phone, as the party was for my dad and he knew nothing about it, they on two occasions called my home phone and gave all the details of my booking and my dad picked up the message. So after a year of planning it was nearly all down the drain in one phone call. The staff then at the hotel, when we arrived, were asked questions these consisted of, “would you be able to put an ice bucket into my parents room for a bottle of champagne I have got them”, they at this point told me I had to go up to the room myself where there was an ice machine and put it in there room, when I went up to get the ice there was no machine on the floor anywhere despite it them saying there was one on my floor I then had to go back down to the bar to ask them for ice to then take the bucket up to my room. The next question asked was “could you put some cold glasses in the room for when they get to the hotel room” again I had to do this myself so when they got to the room the glasses were not chilled any more. The last question we asked them before we left to go to the party was “will the bar be open when we get back from the party”, the answer they gave us was, yes all you have to do is call the porter and he will get you your drinks. This was a blatant lie as when we got to the hotel after the party the bar was closed and there were only 2 staff in the hotel that could not open the bar for us. I was very unimpressed with this hotel and will not be recommending the hotel to anyone or staying in this hotel again." (97075506)

    "The hotel was fine,the staff very nice and accommodating towards us, it was just the guests. We were getting in the lift and some men were getting in drinking cans of lager and had a bag full of them too.Also the bar seemed to be full of larger louts. Not a very good first impression. WE will not be staying here when we come to Leeds again. We infact left we the same night and made an excuse that we had to get back due to business committments." (97966558)

    "Everything was excellent, parking underneath the hotel was a added bonus as we have previously stayed in another hotel in Leeds where we were dodging traffic with luggage. The bed was extremly comfortable had a great night sleep! The resturant didn't give you much option for food, although the food we did get was very nice - would have preferred more variety at affordable prices." (97254621)

    "Car parking was an absolute shambles - cars were parking anywhere and everywhere with several people blocked in. No note of registration numbers was taken on checkin so the owners could not be traced. Why keep on issuing tickets to a car park that was full? Surely not for the extra income? The shampoo/shower gel container over the bath was emnpty as was the liquid soap dispenser at the basin. We fail to understand how such items would be missed if staff wee doing their job correctly."     "Very convenient parking, with a lift straight up to reception which is excellent when you have heavy bags. It was a very pleasant place to spend a weekend in Leeds. The staff were polite and helpful and everything was on hand that we needed. The only niggle is the fact that the restaurant and bar area were quite chilly, but the surroundings were pleasant enough." (97017263)

    Room very clean, spacious, warm and well appointed. Good level of equipment and everything worked. Lovely shower!!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable.

    Car park was full when we arrived & we were told to try again about an hour later 'when the staff go home' and thought it a bit much to charge additional £5 overnight. Tight for space and our car has deep scratches on wing mirror which weren't there when parked. Breakfast buffet good value - but a bit 'canteen like' in quality.

    "The biggest plus point of the hotel was the underground parking facilities. This gives the hotel a distinct advantage over most other hotels in close proximity to Leeds City centre. Would definately stay there again for our next trip to Leeds." (97040307)

    The location (1 mile from city centre), the parking facility.Very modern and impressive. Signposted very well. £69 was a very reasonable price for the night.

    The restaurant menunever tempted us to be honest and it seemed a bit pricey. Saturday night and it seemed deserted. More down to earth food, more reasonably priced would surely encourage more hotel guests to eat there.

    The accommodation was very clean, smart, tidy and was well equipped with a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, trouser press, bath incl. shower

    The Hotel only supplied one hand towel and one bath towel for two people?! They knew in advance two adults would be staying in my room. Also, the shower-head fising came off in my partners hand when trying to run the bath, and even when we got the bath working, the water was only luke-warm.
