    "Very good, nice friendly staff, modern rooms providing a good level of comfort and the necessary equipment/facilities that you could need. Although hair conditioner and a shower cap would have made it a perfect stay." (97974105)

    The recently refurbished room was very nice, fantastic shower. For breakfast from the buffet there was an extensive range of food, and the staff worked very hard and were polite. The swimming pool albeit small was quite adequate for my needs and with the sauna and steam room made it a relaxing stay.

    The car parking was poor, even though it was advertised as being £9.00 per day it was actually £16 per day.

    Central location, near both train and Heathrow bus station. Good value as i booked early and stayed two or more nights. Breakfast included in deal and the standard of breakfast was excellent.

    The lavatory in the bedroom is a little squshed into a corner location in room.

    Fantastic hotel, perfect postion in central Reading, very fiendly staff, excellent swimming pool and Gym with very nice rooms. Great value for money.

    "great place to stay. in the centre of Reading, near the railway station with a good and frequent train service to the centre of London. clean and complete rooms, nice gym and pool, good breakfast which can be used for many hours (believe from 7 till 12). good value for money, for such a deal i want to come over again."     it's clean, has a nice gym and pool, good breakfast, good location in the centre and near the station.

    Very good and efficient check in staff. Very good rooms.

    As with all hotels no real quick breakfast solution in the same manner as Pret A Manger for example eg good coffee with a Bagel/crossant to go for about 6/7 GBP

    "Really good value for money, several lifts to all floors made disabled access easy. Probably if staying over a Friday or Saturday ask to be accommodated on the other side to the street especially if you are a light sleeper. The hotel decor and cleanliness was excellent and the staff were very friendly." (97855341)

    Nice spacious room, good bathroom facilities, friendly professional staff and excellent location.

    As we stayed on a Saturday night the noise from the street was loud and ongoing until around 4am. There were large square pillows instead of the standard rectangular kind, only one spare rectangular pillow and there was no bedding provided for the double sofa bed although I'm sure reception would've provided you with these if you asked them. The heating in the room consited of a noisy fan ventilation system and didn't provide much heat.

    Clean, tide and the staff are very pleasant and helpful, facilities were good, drinks at bar not (too) expensive.

    Room facilities are alcohol free, could have done with as few miniatures in the fridge, also parking problems.

    The accomodation, level of service, the leisure facilities, the restaurant.

    The hotel was too hot. The only way to cool the room down at night was to open the window.

    "Perfect location - it couldn't be any better!!! I would DEFINATELY stay here again, the staff were all so lovely and the facilities e.g swimming were great, very relaxing and open until 10pm which I thought was fantastic. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in." (97433195)

    The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were very modern and clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, the swimming pool was excellent and the location was amazing, everything on your doorstep, no noise and 2 mins from train station - superb!!!

    "The hotel is good and neat and the weekend offer is a catch! The staff is really good and friendly and the food is quite good. The health club and pool is perfect. The restaurant needs a lift up though, doesnt do justice to the hotel.The location is perfect." (97320669)

    The overall experience was good, the rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast was good, though the same everyday.

    The square pillows are annoying, the bathroom could've been bigger and not separated.

    The whole experience was amazing, especially the HI-tech equipment available in the rooms!!

    Parking, I was working for 1 day during my visit therefore travelled in a large van, Leaving a van on the street was not really an option however the staff were excellent and allowed parking in underground car park.

    Excellent clean and well thought out rooms. With everything you'd need for a comfortable short break

    Air conditioning not very strong and room a little too hot. Although possible to open window - too noisy due to position in town centre (but can't blame hotel for rowdy revellers!)

    "the hotel was excellent value for money , suberb facilities , the room was lovely , clean , modern and very spacious , fully equipped with just about everything you could need . breakfast was included in our stay and again was excellent!!! hotel was situated bang in the center of reading , close to train station and all shops, but was very quiet and we didnt hear any noise. we would definatley use this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone !!!"     My room was clean, modern and comfortable. I was also very pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of the personnel.

    Compare to other hotels that I have stayed in Europe, I found the cost for the type of room I was staying to be 40% higher than the average cost per night.

    "The hotel car park is too small. Refering guests to a public car park is misleading as the hotel has no control over the public car park. The area surrounding the public car park is run down and feels unsafe. the hotel should advertise no parking" (97783090)
