"The on-line map was confusing and I had to ring the hotel to get better instructions. The hotel name was Comfort and not Hotel 87." (97995622)

Location close to central London. Large Sainsbury's nearby. Room was very pleasant.

There was no light over the desk - had to request a lamp. TV picture was not very good and did not have Freeview. Had to buy my own showergel and a bigger supply of tea bags would have been nice.

"hotel was very hard to find as it was called 'comfort inn' and only round the back of it you could see it was 'hotel 87'. the recptionist was very grumpy and unhelpful. the pillows were lumpy, duvet was thin, room was cold. however, the Wheatsheaf pub in Vauxhall was amazing, highly recommend visiting that watering hole! the people were so friendly!" (97237344)

    large room

the foyer area was dark and gloomy and wasn't very inviting, colour scheme was dated (all rooms were burnt orange/terracotta)

Once the renovations are completed should be an improvement.

"If this is the normal standard we will not book a Comfort hotel again" (97736677)

Staff attitude - could not be bothered - not very helpful at all Bar & restaurant being refurbished so amenities we expected as per the internet site were not available - had we known this we would have booked elsewhere.

Clean room and easy access to the City. Very reasonable price.

Hotel staff unhelpfull and at times unmannerly. Breakfast badly stocked and very overpriced.

it was near tube stations which made our stay accesible to tourist attractions

the bathroom was like an airplane toilet, it was very small and not very pleasant to use.

for a 2 star hotel - very impressed - very clean - lovely room - well appointed - good location very convenient for earls court tube station - only 5 min walk away - yet in a nice quiet location - and friendly staff.

none - one minor point i believe when i booked the price included a full breakfast - maybe i misread the online details

"The hotel in the middle of refurbishment, so no bar or restaurant open, this was not mentioned to us at any time. Upon our return to the hotel at 2 A.M. the main door was left open with nobody at reception - surely this represents a security risk? I also object that no disabled parking was made available unless we were willing to pay an extra 20% premium (£16)! The room was clean and functional with the exception of the TV on volume was deafening and there appeared no way to adjust this until it had started blaring at full volume." (97656248)

The price and booking process was very good.

"A very basic hostel like hotel which if you paid full rates you would be very very dissapointed!!" (97561803)

Toilet did not work, raditor hissed and gurgled like a volcano, TV had no pay tv, radio or other services. Bathrooms are plastic modules with no room in the showers.

although was advertised to be suitable for 3 adults in one room, one of the beds was a camp bed which did actually collapse during the night, with me on it

"It is nonsense calling it Hotel 87, because nobody, including taxi drivers, has ever heard of it. You should change it to Hotel 87 at Comfort Inn, or something that gives a clue to the name of the main hotel." (99967789)

It was cheap and convenient for Waterloo, Victoria and Euston

No bath and it was either noisy with the windows open, or hot with them shut.

"I would not recommend this hotel for anyone expect low budget backpackers. Description online did not fit the description of the area nor the hotel. Very misleading." (97762395)

I bought a pot noodle and ate it in my room. The hotel was in a bad area and I felt very afraid. I am 7 months pregnant and had to sleep in a tiny hard single bed. I did not feel safe nor secure as a lone traveller

"I would like to have known that the 3rd bed was added to the room as there was not much room after they brought in the camp bed. Also would have liked to have known that there was not much going on in the area." (97123392)

Staff were helpful & the hotel was kept clean. Also, the cafe downstairs was great.

The room was booked for 3 people but there were only 2 beds, the staff brought in an extra camp bed which there was not enough room for, room was quite cramped after.

The only redeeming feature is that it's near to where our daughter lives.

The accommodation was in a 'family' room with bunk beds and a double bed. The bathroom was preformed plastic with no room to place anything. Despite requesting a quiet room, our room was next to the generating plant/air conditioning/heating which was very loud and uncomfortable. Not a pleasant experience at all.

"Difficulty in finding the hotel, its name had changed and only a small sign. It would have been useful to have directions as local taxi driver didn't have a clue. The hotel was adequate for our stay, but wouldn't book in again. Was grateful that we only spent 6 hours there." (97772127)

Accomodation wasn't particularly clean, the room was adequate, wouldn't have wanted to stay more than one night. noisy. I rang and advised of late check in we arrived at 9.55 the cafe closes at 10.00 rudeness of cafe staff, when we asked for a drink. Pillows old and flat.

Convenient location - near where I was working, shops, pubs & restaurants. Generally clean and tidy.

Pillows. Did not get requested quiet or no smoking room. Parking expensive. They tried to cancel my booking (made in March) on the day before - worrying and expensive in phone calls. Difficult to phone the hotel - number given went through several of those appalling menus.
