"The information about the accommodation was accurate (although didn't see internet access) and the room was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. A well-stocked hospitality tray was provided. The proprietors pointed us to a very good restaurant for an evening meal out and were able to give us other helpful local information. The breakfast was full and well-presented. Happy to recommend Cairnryan House without reservation. The proprietors deserve to do well." (97198588)

Very friendly proprietors who made every effort to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. The room was spacious with good views over the Loch Ryan.

"The Guesthouse is a small family run concern with only 5 rooms. The rooms were large, well furnished, clean and quiet. The standard of the rooms is as good as many 2 or 3 Star Hotels, The owners were pleasant and friendly, and could not do enough to please us. There is adequate Car Parking. Cairnryan house is ideally situated as a base for exploring the local area or for an overnight stop prior to, or on return from Ireland via the ferries from Stranraer or Cairnryan. A comprehensive and up to date folder is provided in the rooms with details of attractions in the surrounding area to suit all tastes and a brief history of the immediate area. I would recommend the establishment to anyone, however there is no entertainment, etc. Cairnryan house is purely B & B with other meals by arrangement. This will certainly be our first choice in future when we are in the area for any reason whatsoever. Myself and my wife are considering returning for a short break as a direct result of the information provided and the standard of accommodation which can only be described as excellent value for money." Everything.

Nothing, it exceeded our expectations in all respects.

"Extremely friendly welcome and personal attention. Helpful and courteous. The breakfast was delicious and we were made to feel at home. The room was large, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. There was also the feeling that if anything further had been needed then it would have been provided if possible. We were greeted by name and shown to our room and were given advice about the various places to eat near to the guesthouse. An offer to book a table and taxi for us was also forthcoming. The price of the room was exceptionally reasonable and, should we return to the area we would have no hesitation in staying again." "This is an excellent establishment at which we hope to stay again in the future. From the friendly welcome, the cleanliness and high quality of all facilities, the peace and superb vista from the bedroom window across Loch Ryan and the wonderful breakfast; all made for a relaxed start before crossing to Ireland. There is ample private parking in Cairnryan House grounds whilst Cairnryan Port is literally five minutes down the road, but far enough away to be unobtrusive in any way. A great find." (99906138)

Everything; friendly helpful owners, cleanliness, peace, loch views, proximity to the port and private parking.
