"Overall a good hotel, ideally located for the tube and to get to from the M1. The room we had was very small but the standard was high. Bathroom was very good with a excellent shower and again furnished to high standard. I think the price was a little too much as the size of the room let the hotel down." (97834699)

Very stylish and clean. Great standard in hotel furnishings.

Very small room and poor television reception.

"Staff were very pleasant and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable with a lot of choice. Parking is an issue due to lack of available spaces on the hotel site itself. It was not clear when and where was available parking and the cost of it." (97818957)

Well laid out. Up to date technology. Newly furnished. The member of staff on reception duty was outstanding; superlatively helpful.

The room was a little small.

"Despite the arty claims in the glossy brochure-this hotel did not deliver. It is infuriating that guests not asking for paricular rooms get the decent ones whilst those asking for one are totally ignored---and still pay the top price !!" (97141079)

Staff tried to please.Even disturbed you at 7.25 am to deliver the morning paper.

Despite requesting a quiet room at the rear-was allocated a very small attic room at the front overlookind a noisy main road. Room so small that we constantly banged our heads on the slanting ceilings.Car parking only available for 4 cars.Breakfast set up on very low tables and chairs making it a very uncomfortable experience.

Very comfortable bed! Great spot for jumping on the tube to the city, right at the end of the M1 and great for Wembley Arena/Stadium.

    Kettle wouldn't stay switched on!!

"Generally I was happy with the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a feeling of quality about the place. On the negative side, I did find my room rather cramped, as I had a laptop to use and some paperwork to do with no working space at-all. Also the wireless internet didn't work in my room (right at the back of the hotel)but it worked OK in the bar." (97850801)

Good value for money, on-site parking, clean, a very modern feel. Free wireless internet (although it didn't work in my room).

Very small room, which is what you expect in London, but a chair and small desk would have been handy.

"A great little hotel in a good location, the tube/train station was literally 2 minutes around the corner to get you into Central London. Our stay was for a concert at Wembley Stadium, the hotel is approx. 3.5 miles away from the venue, ideal for the bus, taxi, tube or even walking there. Our hotel room was spacious and well decorated with a lovely modern ensuite with a double sized power shower. The Molton Brown toiletries and fluffy white towels were a lovely touch. We had a great flat screen tv with satellite channels, a good sized safe, wardrobe, tea & coffee facilities and hairdryer. The communal areas were also brilliantly decorated, again in contemporary style. The breakfast room/dining room was based in a large conservatory at the rear of the hotel looking out onto the large well kept gardens. Would definately stay at this hotel if returning to London." (99267697)

Location, decor of hotel (contemporary), friendly staff, cost of room.

"Only thing was we arrived back at the hotel at around 11.15pm after a concert at wembley and we tried to call a couple of local pizza places, neither places answered their phones, despite advertising their opening hours until midnight, it would have been good for the hotel to have an arrangement with at least one or two restaurants for late night deliverys, other than that, couldn't find fault, booked a taxi for us and gave us hepl in finding somewhere to eat and drink in the afternoon when we checked in. Excellent!!" (99467456)

Warm, comfortable and modern, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, close to public transport facilities and other amenities (very nice Italian restaurant!). Food at the hotel excellent and good value for money.

The main road outside was very noisy, even on a Sunday morning! No lifts (important for disabled people). Main lighting in room a bit inadequate (although subdued lighting was very pleasant).

"A superb hotel, contemporary and yet comfortable with excellent access to central London as there are 2 tube stations in very close proximity. The continental breakfast selection was excellent - probably the best variety I've seen. Although the room was small the bed was very comfortable, it had all the facilities we required and it was more than adequate for our short stay. We would definitely choose to stay at Hotel 55 again." (97519204)

The continental breakfast was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The room was quite small. It was however extremely comfortable and well equipped.

"The hotel was very easy to find from the directions and right by the tube station (although this was closed for the weekend, there was another one 5 minutes away). The rooms were lovely, exactly as pictured and described, maybe a little smaller than I thought but more than adequate for a 2 night stay. Very reasonable price for the accommodation on offer. Bedroom doors could close a little slower/quieter but a lovely stay throughout. We would definitely stay there again." (99990514)

Lovely clean room and bathroom over looking the garden, so low traffic noise. Reception, bar and conservatory area very modern, clean and comfortable.

The shaver socket in our room did not work, but not really a problem.

Overall it was very good. It was comfortable, clean, had all the extras necessary for a comfortable stay especially parking and breakfast which is an extra in many hotels in the London area. It was very tastefully decorated and welcoming.

I thought the position of the complimentary coffee tray a little difficult though with a light inside the cupboard too it may have been ideal - there wasn't one.

Hotel represented good value for money. Good location for apollo hammersmith and has small car park which is free. (most hotels at hammersmith charge extra for parking)Good standard of fittings and good breakfast.

Room we had was next to stairs on ground floor so some noise from people coming in late, but wasnt ridiculous.

Very clean and the room was a nice moden style. The bed was not like no other, it moulded its shape to yours so you had a perfact night sleep and i did indeed. The shower was nice and warm and the tv was in the wall so saved space.

there wasn't a bath, i didnt really mind but sometimes i do like a nice soak. thats about it really, room could of been abit bigger but still was worth the stay

    Beautiful, modern accommodation.

It would be much nicer to have tea served at breakfast time in individual pots.
