    very well kept hotel

    that there isn't a lift , at least there should be a service for luggages portage or a service lift .

    Location - just 5 mins walk max from Oxford Street. Hotel - Not being a chain - a lot more personal.

    Modern stlye and decor throughout the hotel, breakfast was lovely and great location.

    Very stylish, great room and location.

    No lift and unhelpful staff who didn't deal with the problem adequatly.

    "Friendly staff, well-appointed communal rooms, lovely, high spec bedrooms, and in a fantastic central London location. Overall, a great boutique hotel, and very reasonably priced for central London." (97914455)

    Very nicely appointed rooms with quality modern furnishings and extremely comfortable bed. The shower was wonderfully strong and hot, and I really liked the ground coffee and organic teas in room as refreshment as well.

    The room I had was located right under the front entrance of the hotel, which has a wooden floor, so I was woken Sunday morning by the sound of feet above me clattering on the floor.

    "Our swanky room was gorgeous, very spacious & the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in! Price was fantastic especially given how close we were to Oxford St. The hotel was quiet - you wouldn't have known you were in central London, and the proximity to various underground stations was ideal. We couldn't fault the hotel at all, and are looking forward to our next stay." (99419795)

    lovely room and awsome bathroom. The interior decor was lovely and the room was large for a city hotel. Desk help was always very nice.

    "It was a lovely stay, and we will definitely be returning next time we go to London and we will almost certainly upgrade our room next time." (99387327)

    The check-in process was quick and easy and the staff were friendly offering us a choice of rooms. The room was clean and beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable!

    The hotel was very quiet, we felt uncomfortable having a drink in the silent and empty bar area!

    "I did not realise before that we would be in the basement, but it did not matter much as it was only for one night I was totally happy with everything else. The one thing which was not clear from the website was the descrition of the different rooms. I had to call the receptionist to find out that the main difference was size and location. Photos of specifc rooms with the specifications would be helpful indeed." (99608950)

    "Very low-key and relaxed environment with friendly staff - I have recommended Montagu Place to 3 other people already and would definitely like to stay there again myself! I was in a Comfy Room which had very nice decorative scheme and as promised a very comfy bed!" (99797167)

    I really liked the design and look of the hotel and the room. Lovely fabrics, very calming.
