"I would book again, but would ask for a different room as the skylight meant I woke up earlier than I had hoped." (99339590)
Beautiful decor throughout hotel. Lovely bathroom. Overall, very luxurious and spacious room.
No air-con in rooms, and the skylight blind did not make the room dark enough.

"This is a beautiful, luxurious hotel with unique ambience and style. Everything is of the highest quality and in excellent good taste. We were very lucky to obtain a special rate from Active Hotels.com and were even more fortunate to be upgraded when we arrived. Our stay was a special experience and we would love to return" (97572601)
Everything of highest quality with individual decor and touches you would not receive in a large chain hotel
Staff maybe a little too formal for us but not a criticism

"Excellent hotel, staff very friendly." (97939722)
bed was exceptionally comfortable, filter coffee in the room
wifi problematic; lighting was a bit subdued; gym was small and had no treadmill - that area could have been better designed by a professional.
