"Not really that great, disappointed" (97801007)

    Staff were happy and friendly

Very tierd room which needed re-decorating. bathroom was tiny and the shower needed to be resealed. Fixtures half hanging off the walls. too small for a twin room. staff struggled to understand english which caused confusion and one morning for my breakfast to take 35 mins to be brought out by which time i had to leave for work.

"A reasonably priced town centre bed and breakfast that did the job!" (97639116)

The mattress was nice and firm. The breakfast was tasty and was a decent sized portion.

When the guests in the room above had a shower, it leaked into one of our rooms.

    "Adequate" (97480782)

The bedding was very clean.Hotel was in a good location.Tea & coffee was supplied.Good breakfast.

The reception desk was unattended at all times. We could have walked out without paying.........

"On the whole it was excellent value for money. A clean room with tea making facilities and biscuits. Also freebies in the bathroom are getting rarer and rarer in hotels so it was nice to see them. " (97262534)

Good value for money and good location. Breakfast was freshly made and good value. Room was clean and what you needed was there for a basic hotel. The provision of shower caps is always a plus for me.

The room was small to have a double bed and a single bed in it and if you wanted to watch the TV it was awkward as the TV was on top of the chest of drawers at the side of the bedhead and in an alcove. If you want to have a table to yourself then you need to get down early to get one of the smaller tables otherwise you will end up sharing - which is fine if your companions table manners are Ok. We actually did have a table to ourselves.

    "Not impressed." (97249628)

    Good breakfast.

Room was not too clean. No plug in the sink (saving water?) Seemed to be some "rough" & noisy guests. Very loud voices. Back in at 1.50am. Knocking on doors at about 5am. Not sure what it was all about. No one on reception - had to wait after ringing request through.

"The hotel would benefit from a good refurbishment and the staff need to be a little more attentive and available." (97888051)

Generally clean. Good variety for breakfast. Excellent location for the conference centre.

I had to wait a long time for someone to answer the locked door when I arrived. The reception was not managed well and I had to wait 20 minutes before someone came to hand my room key to when checking out. The reception phone did not work. The staff would try to serve lots of people at once and did not appear to have the skills to do so.
