The staff were friendly, nice balcony windows.
very basic. rooms not as pictured in the photographs on the website. funny smell around the stairway area. rooms and reception area clen and tidy byt corridors etc were not.

The location is good, restaurants, metro station near by.
There is no elevator!! If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, look somewhere else! Because no one will help you to carry it up to the 5th floor. I would not stay in this hotel again.

"The hotel did the job, and provided a no frills stay in Paris for reasonable cost. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Noise wasn't bad for Paris, and the hotel will provide a decent base for people looking to sight see and be out & about." (97280397)
Staff very helpful & English was good. Breakfast was a simple no nonsense affair & the dining area clean. Bathrooms although small had been recently renovated & were clean. Plenty of hot water. Hotel open 24 hours with someone at the reception desk at all times, which was great. We took our car to Paris and the nearby secure parking at Ledrue Rollins (10 mins walk) was excellent & recommended by the hotel.
Hotel was undergoing renovation whilst we were there so a lot of equipment lying about (i.e. shower screens etc), also a level of dust evident in the hallways. Rooms were incredibly small - we hired double & a triple, but there was barely room to move about in either (perhaps this is normal in Paris, and wasn't so bad as we only used the hotel as a place to sleep and have breakfast - nothing more).

"We were asked to pay for the whole four night stay on arrival, after seeing the room we informed the desk we would be leaving the next day to be told that was impossible and we would have too pay for the full four nights, in contradiction to the information on Active Hotels. Our room was changed on the second day. The first room was very small, there was no room on the floor to put our suitcase except against the door, there were stains on the chair and carpet, there was no toilet door, the hair dryer did not work, there was no mirror in the bedroom, the TV had no remote control, there was only one bath towel, the plug in the sink did not work, there were no bedside cabinets or drawers, the wardrobe was not big enough to contain a hanger, the hotel was noisy. If our room had not been changed we would have left even if it meant losing the money. The hotel is in the process of being redecorated." (97241287)

"L'accueil et le petit déjeuner sont corrects. Mais les parties communes et la petite chambre sont mal entrenues et dégradées (sol et mobilier tachés, mini-lavabo décollé du mur sans tablette, réparations au scotch, poubelle sous les toilettes pour les fuites d'eau ! et j'en passe). Mon avis : Ne mérite vraiment pas 2 etoiles !" (97960099)

"un rapport qualité prix tres bon mes la vetusté de l'hotel en pliene refection la decoration de l'hotel d'un autre temps ex : tapisserie .lustre .moquette .rideau de separation chambre touche les jont des faut plafond decalé donne une impréssion de ne pas etre dans la capital malgres la propreté et la qualité du servie du personnel excelente" (97875933)

"bonne adresse pour un hotel sympathique tant pour lui_même que pour son personnel. Le petit déjeuner est convivial et la proximité du bar ouvert très tard facilite le réconfort après une journée de marche et de piétinnement dans paris.Le seul dommage est le bruit, non pas par rapport à l'exterieur puiqu'il est bien traité avec de bonnes fenêtres, mais entre les chambres et entre les chambres et le couloir. Il existe aussi quelques petits disfonctionnement de la plomberie." (99116719)
Un bon accueil, une bonne disponibilité du personnel et une situation sympathique. Un 20 sur 20 pour le barman!!!!!!!!!
nous les cherchons,..................un manque d'isolement acoustique entre les chambres.

la posizione comunque favorevole dell'hotel.. decentrato ma comodamente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici.
la colazione è scadente, l'albergo di cinque piani non e' servito da ascensore, la camera matrimoniale era veramente piccola ed arrangiata quanto ad arredamento.. cuscini scomodi, asciugacapelli non funzionante, telefono non funzinante affisso al muro con lo scoth, luci di cortesia non funzionanti, spina elettrica non funzionante.. siamo stati costretti a chiedere di farci sostituire la stanza. Il personale era comunque gentile e disponibile.

Very convenient location (close to metro stations)with cheap & good restaurants around, very close to supermarket and non-stop minimarket, english-speaking personnel willing to help.
Poor breakfast, no lift, small -not for the claustrophobic- rooms, no minibar in the rooms, worn off towels, sheets not changed daily, not soundproof rooms as far as the interior of the hotel is concerned
