    "Very good." (107140496)

Having stayed in many Premier hotels in France, we always know what to expect. These rooms are good value for money.

Can often be noisy. Tea making facilities would be very much appreciated.

    "Adequate" (108073590)

Location; the hotel showed lots of promise which was let down by the condition of the facilities

Airconditioning was not working during our stay; security catch on the window did not work so could not alleviate the heat by opening the window; I had to refit the toilet seat as it had come away from the toilet pan

Impossible to make any contact with the hotel regarding the procedure for a late check in. It took over a week to obtain any response. Check in procedure was not as was described and took an extremely long time to work out very late at night and with a young baby. There was not enough parking at the hotel either.

"It was cheap, but the problems with slippery floors and the fact that we could not get taxis in to Boulogne meant that we will not be staying here again." (97003328)

    Cheap and cheerful

The check in process after 21.00 uses a self service process, the computer was tempremental and created unnecessary hassle. The shower unit was small and meant that you had to dry yourself in the room. This resulted in a wet floor and two of our party of 15 slipped on the floor and injured themselves, one so badly that he was unable to play golf on the second day (not good when you are on a golfing holiday).

" Booked here cause it was cheap & cheerful, it was certainly not the latter. We had another overnight stay during our trip and the hotel (which was beautiful) was the same price, so there is absolutely no need to ever book at this range of hotels again." (107182416)

English TV, although picture dreadful. Nothing else at all.

very basic, couldn't move in the room. Nowhere to sit except bed. Toilet cubicle dreadful.Couldn't park outside room.

    "Disappointing" (107107883)

The sheets were clean and fresh.

The room was the smallest I've ever stayed in. There was mold on the walls, the shower room was very small and not well maintained, and not very clean. The walls were very thin and I could have had a conversation with someone next door.

"Intially noisy - children running around unchecked. Hot water was to point of scalding and not much room for adjustment so shower was not adequate or enjoyable. But close to ferry port, well signposted and plenty of eating places within walking distance." (108029088)

After hours service was good. In respect of problems checking in.

Booked on internet. Arrived at approx 10pm to find Booking ref. name and pin code (needed to take car into car park) not identified. Spent approx 30 mins b 4 getting through to a mobile no. for assistance. Car park not big enough for all occupants vehicles. Need to book in early.

We had to get the receptionist to open the door and then when he turned the lights on to the room they never came on for a few minutes by this time we was very annoyed. After settling in we went to get a coffee out of the machine only to find this did not work. The rooms are very noisy and we were very dissapointed with our stay, in fact it might have been better to have stayed in the car for the night." (97083111)

clean beds , plenty of hot water, clean and comfortable. No extra charge when booking needed to be altered.Dog was welcome.

floor slippy when getting out of shower- could do with some sort of mat- extra pillow would have been useful and pillow cases on them rather than having a sheet folded over the pillow

"Most definately a budget stay - you get what you pay for." (97400942)

Very small - barely room to step in through the door safely while carrying luggage. Virtually non existant storage space in the room for baggage, valuables, clothes. Although the room was non-smoking, it smelt strongly of tobacco - to the extent that our clothes could not be worn again without washing.

"A detailed printable online map of location from major directions would help visitors a lot, our GPS system could not locate the post code? The top bed linen badly needed a fuzz buster application. Second pillows were not in the room. A much better BBC reception would help if only for a channel crossing weather check. TV entertainment was extreemly poor in room 41 there was no English speaking channels available but it was advertised as having some, I know it's France but there are lots of UK users. The remote did not correspond with the actual TV ? The shower head was not the correct one for the wall bracket as it constantly fell off it. Strangely we were also quizzed by customs officials where we had stayed/what it was like etc, Is everyone doing surveys?" (97998684)

"Cheap and therefore as you would expect the facilities are basic but everything you need is here. Rooms are small as is the bathroom which is a moulded plastic 'pod' at one end of the room - very clever. Parking spaces a bit small and tricky to get into if car park fairly full and you have a largish car. Not enough 'official' spaces for all cars for all guests so a bit of creative parking put into play. Very conveniently located just off the A16. Too far to walk into town. However several eateries close by with discounts for clients of the hotel. As the other reviews stated English did not come readily to the person booking us in and it was all in French." (97730160)

The simplicity of the facilities. Basic but sound.

Door keycode entry system was sometimes temperamental and required several attempts.

codes to get into the room constantly breaking down, resulting in my sons bedroom not being used although we paid for a asecond room . I have previously stayed at B&B Hotel next-door, which seemed cleaner and brighter, also had more choice for breakfast - including scrambled egg, bacon, croisants, pain au chocolat etc. They may be a little dearer, but to me-worth it." (97360881)

Ease of booking, low cost, fairly secure parking, located close to restaurants, UK TV, Shower and toilet facilities

a little small- squeezing past end of beds to door. no easy-chair, only a small stool. Floor carpet was gritty - seriously needed vacuuming.

the price was ok always plenty of hot water. hotel quite good when you consider the cost per night

the carpark is far to small and it is always a worry that your car will be damaged when you return to it in the morning also the entrance / exit for cars to the hotel is ridiculous you cannot drive in or out of the hotel without scraping the bottom of your car because of the degree of slope involved

"Fair value for money - a brief stop over on way to ferry, so not looking for too much. A bit noisy with travellers leaving early. Otherwise, it served the purpose." (99886602)

fair value for the money - we were stopping over to catch the ferry the next morning. Ferry port is 10 minutes drive

Minor point - is used by a number of transit travellers aiming to catch ferries I suspect - so people leaving in cars from 5 / 5.30 am onwards with some asociated noise - enough to wake those sleeping if near car park. Also - 6.30 the refuse lorry in car park revving engine as men work probably woke the rest of travellers on that side of the building - could better place refuse bins perhaps
