    free wi-fi.....free mini-bar....breakfast included....suprisingly close 2 all shops & transport....excellent value for money & very helpful professional staff!!

    All of facilities of the hotel is convenient. (ex. Internaet access, Mini bar, both room, bed.

    Floor of the room was not clean and smell as sweat. Some stein of pouring water and other liquid were not feeling relaxed. I asked at the hotel front but no responce.

    Free internet, mini bar, coffee avalable 24 7. Breakfast very good & adequate, location opposite train station.

    "The first night's stay was in a front room of the Hotel which was very noisy. On our return for our second night's stay we asked for a room away from the front of the Hotel and were given a very comfortable room. Hotel staff were very courteous and the breakfast provided was excellent" (97732189)

    "I was looking for a very conveniently located hotel in the centre of town, and found the Excelsior, as this is located just opposite the main Railway Station, in fact only 60 metres from the station. One can hardly get wet on a rainy day, because one is under roof from the overseas departure airport until the hotel, almost." (97601833)

    Very quiet room, absolutely no outside noise at all. Upon arrival I was immediately told about free buffet breakfast (very good indeed), free minibar and free use of computers for surfing the internet.

    The room was very cold at night, and I had to take off a cover from the sofa next to the bed to keep me warm.

    "We stayed at the hotel just to sleep for the night and park the care, and for that purpose I would recommend it. The toilet stunk and the TV did not work in the room. The breakfast was good in the morning and is included in the price." (97229573)

    Check-in was difficult by auto. The parking garage is difficult to access and needs to be opened by the front desk (not automatically done when you pull up).

    First of all the room, then the breakfats, the emplyees staff. AND THE PRICE!!!! I'm sorry stayed only one night...my sister in law had booked another hotel (horrible!!!I don't name it because it's not the subject). Exelcior ist Wunderbar!NOTHIN

    The evening meal in the restaurant was poor when we were entertaining a visitor from the UK.

    Spacious, clean, good facilities, fan in place of air conditioning. The location near the rail station is great.

    Only one lift caused minor delays.

    "Even though we were only staying the night we were treated like the best guests. We had free internet which helped us locate sights. The breakfast buffet catered to people of all nationalities. The room had a balcony and was very clean. It's right across from the train station and very easy to find. Since the U-Bahn is in the train station as well, it's easy to get to and from the hotel."     "the fact that the hotel was older was not a problem... i like older hotels for their quaintness.. but the odor (a stale kind of smell) was not pleasent in the halls or rooms (we had 2) it was fine for an overnight but i would not choose this hotel for a longer stay. very easy to get to the train as it is directly across the street. also our room faced the station and noise was not a problem. the staff was nice and the breckfast was great..lots to choose from. mini bar was great when arriving later with no time to get beverages. normally the rooms are not as much as they were when we visited but there was some type of convention in town which jacked up prices at all the hotels."     "Vieles wurde bereits im Internet treffend beschrieben. Muss wirklich genauer überlegen um etwas zu finden, das negativ zu bewerten ist. Was den ein oder anderen eventuell stören könnte, dass das Hotel direkt am Bahnhof liegt und somit das Verkehrsaufkommeen relativ hoch ist. Ein weiteres Manko; das Hotel liegt nur zwei Minuten von der Kaiserstraße entfernt und somit in der Nähe der Spaßszene (Table-Dance-Bars etc.)...wobei dis auch gerade von Vorteil sein kann, je nachdem welchen Grund der Auffenthalt in Frankfurt hat. Wer sich an diesen kleinen Schwachpunkten nicht stört, dem ist das Hotel nur zu empfehlen..." (97643190)

    Das Preis-Leisungsverhältnis war absolut in Ordnung. Viele Angebote waren bereits im Preis mit inbegriffen (Mini-Bar, ein hervorragendes Frühstück, Internetraum...) Wirklich gut!

    Leider fehlt dem Hotel ein gemütlicher Auffenthaltsraum oder eine nette Bar, leider beides nicht vorhanden.
