"We were very happy there and found the staff helpful. We were to friends traveling together and wanting good value and yet a private bath and nice accomodations. Check out the pictures and pick yours." (99346271)

I liked the staff, especially Gabriel who answered some questions about coordinating a side trip BEFORE I left the states. He is great. Also the staff who make your cappicino in the am are very attentive. You will get packaged croussants etc but you get them everywhere. Our room was great. Nice size and we had our own bath. The hotel is in a nice part of town so don't be fooled, we loved the area for reasonble food and fruits and vegetables too.

Not much, it takes a little while for the hot water but it was coming up from downstairs.. If someone is over you and stomps, you can hear them.

"Rooms are small, bed was very firm, as to be expected in Europe generally. Bathroom was quite new, had all the amenities needed. Staff, including night porter, very helpful and friendly. The quality of the breakfast was poor: dry, packaged toasted bread. No fresh fruit or juice. Very limited, probably the least impressive breakfast in two weeks in Italy. Dining staff helpful and friendly. The location is very good, very close to the train station, to the water transportation options. Extremely quiet at night. However, as some previous reviewers have noted, finding the hotel is a major challenge. It probably is a short walk from the train, but the directions provided on-line are simply awful. The hotel is down a very narrow alley, with a sign the size of a newspaper. It is in an area with many shops and small restaurants, and the directions should mention some landmarks. Improve the breakfast offerings, and make the directions much more clear." (97624418)

Good location, owner on the premises was very helpful, spoke English, made arrangements for us for a local concert; good source of information.

    Quality of breakfast.
