"As above. The staff in particuilar really helped to make it an enjoyable stay. I would happily stay again or recommend it to" (99129647)
It was clean, well equipped and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpfull to ensure that the stay was as enjoyable as possible.
It was further away from the train station than I believed when we booked. Whilst, the description did not lie, it was misleading because the length of the termini (including non train bits) meant that whilst it was still only about 500 m from the end of the termini it was a lot longer than invisged.

"Well located for being a tourist in Rome. Hotel staff helpful in directing you about and advising. Very low cost public transport - 3 day bus and metro rover for 11 Euro. Hotel should stock bus maps. Great, buzzing local market hidden in back-streets behind hotel which hotel staff ought to sell a bit more. Area slightly grubby...litter, bottles etc at night. Good restaurants a bit of a walk away but supermarket handy at end of Termini Station building for bits of self-catering. Decent-sized triple room, though you're unlikely to be in it much on a sight-seeing trip to Rome - much too much to pack in in 3 days. Little things could be improved e.g. tidy up tiling in bathroom, but nothing that was in your face. Small hotel with limited facilities but fridge, safe, hair-dryer, air-con and double-glazing all worked fine. Shower OK too, except slight problem with water draining away (turn it down a bit). My guess is that if you get much closer to the very centre of Rome you'll pay a lot more for a lot less." (99305779)
Reasonably well located close to Termini rail station and short walk to Metro; much of central Rome within walking distance. Small hotel (family run, perhaps. Clean. Decent if not immaculate. Good sized double room; fridge (essential in searing temperatures); air-con worked fine
Not much to dislike. Area next to rail station a bit grubby; night porter uncommunicative (looked grumpy even if he wasn't). Room slightly tired and lacked a few finishing touches but nothing critical. Shower didn't drain away well and flooded once.

"Other than the faulty light in the bathroom and the refusal to change our room or give a discount, the hotel was clean, friendly and well located." (97304295)
Staff were friendly and courteous
The light in our bathroom didn't work, we reported it and asked it to be fixed. They were already aware of the problem and were unable to fix it but still put us in the room and refused to give us a discount in the morning.

"Great front desk staff, gave info on city tours, restaurants and directions to the train station which was very close." (97729658)
Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful when booking city tours and giving advise as to how to get to the train station. My girlfriend and I were going down to Sorrento so the train station was just a couple of blocks away and it was easy to roll the luggage the few blocks.
No bad points...but taxis are expensive in Rome...suggest a shuttle to the hotel as I did and share with someone else....also if going further south in Italy, consider hiring a car and driver if you have four or more...by the tie we trained to Napeles and then Sorrento, we felt like we's run a marathon.

"The hotel and room was very clean and well maintained. The staff were efficient and friendly. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of Termini Station and the Colosseum is a pleasant walk away. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel and also the little restaurant/pizzeria two blocks away, that they recommend." (97378781)
The continental breakfast, great way to start the day
No view from the window
