" After making quite the racket the first day, the hotel staff was otherwise polite and helpful. I would stay at the hotel again because of its location, but then not if it means I would have to make one hell of an argument to actually receive the room I booked. " (108057546)
Close to the beach, a grocery store right by, and about a 10 minutes walk from the center of ibiza town.
When I arrived at the hotel they sent me right out the door without any explanation telling me that no, I was to stay at another hotel called the hotel Tivoli and it was and I quote: ?right down the street?. This was far from the truth, the hotel Tivoli was about a 10 minutes drive from Roberto Playa out by Playa de N?Bossa, far from the center of Ibiza town. When I understood how far out from Ibiza town the hotel Tivoli was I made it very clear for the receptionist at both the hotel Tivoli and Roberto Playa that this was a situation that was completely unacceptable for me, I wanted a hotel that was near the center of Ibiza, I did not want to stay at Playa de N?Bossa, I received a room at the hotel Tivoli which was not satisfying at all, and the fact that the Roberto Playa had not contacted me in advanced over phone or e-mail explaining the problem made me to say the least very unsatisfied. After literally having to fight with the receptionist at Roberto Playa demanding that they found a room for me either at their hotel or another hotel nearer the center of town, they ?magically? produced a room for me at the Roberto playa. A couple of days later I overheard in the reception them doing the exactly same thing to some new guests that were checking in.
