Great location, great rates, nice sized rooms, good cleaning.
Unfriendly staff, bathroom smelled terrible like sewage and the toilet constantly ran, poor lighting in room, no internet.

Everything, awesome hotel with a perfect position and an incredible value for money. Is impossible to find a 3 stars hotel in Madrid (that seems a 4 stars) with the same price.

Very clean, very hospitality team, very very comfortable location of this hotel in the city
During my living in this hotel it was constructional engineering in the street. It was not pleasant. Because of the close location of several restaurants or bars it was not silence till the morning.

"The hotel was well situated for all the places of interest. The room was basic but very clean. One of the blinds was broken and wouldn't stay open so the room was quite dark. The hotel was advertised as having a bar, which it did not. The reception staff were not particularly helpful or friendly, in fact I don't think any of them managed a smile in the four days we were there." (97701380)
Very central location; within walking distance of all major areas of interest.
No tea/coffee making facilities.

"En general, muy adeouado en relación calidad/precio. Escogimos el hotel por su situación (muy céntrico) y su precio, dejando en un segundo plano la comodidad y el lujo (nuestra estancia se limitaba a una sola noche). Se nota que el hotel tiene muchos años y los servicios y habitaciones no son comparables a los de un moderno hotel de cuatro estrellas, tipo AC, NH, etc, pero cumplió perfectamente su cometido." "Ottimo week-end, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, ottima posizione dell'hotel vicino a qualsiasi cosa: pub,discoteche, ristoranti, deliziose tabernas." (99481943)
Un po' tutto. La posizione centralissima, la disponibilità dello staff, la discreta condizione delle camere.
Credo che le camere in qualche particolare dovrebbero essere leggermente ammodernate

proximidad a la Biblioteca Nacional, disponibilidad de habitación auténticamente individual. Local ya conocido desde 1972
No desayune, pero me gusta desayunar en bayonesa con cafe. No funcionaba el telefono.

"I found the hotel because it was the best deal I could get for my budget booking the night before. 3 stars - the service and the staff were very good. However the quality of the hotel and the rooms was not good. Sound was the main problem because the walls in the hotel were so thin. One night, a drunk Spanish couple came in next door and i could hear everything they were saying. Also as there are many bars outside on the same street, the noise kept comign through. The best thing was the location however I would not stay in this place again and recommend you try a four star hotel if possible." (97075193)
Location was great very central and easy to get to
Noise - I could hear the drunk couple next door at 1am in the morning, the walls were so thin. Plus outside the street had many bars and so even on a Wednesday night, there was a lot of noise til 3am

"Very good value for money in central madrid and we would stay there again." (99926116)
Location was very central so we could walk to all the attractions, the hotel was traditional with professional service, very clean and good value for money. Would definitley stay there again. we had rooms at the rear of the hotel and were not disturbed by any street noise. reception staff were particularly helpful.
