    Hotel in a good location, and the staff very pleasant.

    On arrival at Victoria Coach Station I took a taxi to the hotel (black cab located just outside the station)cost £13. Ordered return taxi through the Hotel Concierge back to Victoria Coach Station - cost £20 took the longest route and dropped me off at Victoria Train Station (the coach station was a good walk away) I will order my own taxi in future. The Concierge probably had a deal going with this guy and I felt he took advantage of an old lady.

    "Hugely disappointing. Genuinely thought the makeover would result in a quality experience and I was prepared to pay accordingly. Sadly the restaurant has not improved and breakfast was particularly poor quality.So I paid the premium but the hotel did not deliver it's side of the bargain. It still has much to do." (108096387)

    Room was: spacious, clean,with a good bed and reasonable bathroom facilities but,to meet the quality standards described,would need towels of a far better quality and a repaired bathroom door.

    The new hotel promotes itself as much improved from the Bonnington which I also stayed in. Sadly there was little real evidence of change. Our room was bigger and better appointed but everthing else was ordinary. Food was pretty grim.

    "Apart from the noisy room and the fact that it had been left with the curtains open in unusually hot weather thus the air conditioning could not cool it down enough, we enjoyed our stay." (97515337)

    The improvement in equipment and standard of appointment over the old Bonnington is remarkable.

    Unfortunately we were given a first floor room facing the street on a very hot night. It was too warm and too noisy...

    Business-friendly room- decent size bathroom, good size room, fridge and bathrobes, etc- that all made the stay much more comfortable and worth the higher price. Exercise room small but contained rowing machine, bike, stepper and running machine and the air conditioning worked!

    Room was at the front of the building, just above the pavement and main road so was noisy. The air conditioning only went down to 19 deg C so the room felt quite airless and warm at times and the windows could not be opened. Breakfast was good but not worth £16.50- there are plenty of cafes, juice bars, etc locally, to provide breakfast for those on a budget.

    Excelente ubicación.Habitaciones muy limpias. Un saludo especial a la Jefa de comedor/desayunos, por su simpatía, amabilidad y además habla perfecto español, cosa muy de agradecer para los que no hablamos demasiado inglés.

    Habitaciones algo reducidas.Falta mini-bar.

    The staff were really friendly and allowed us to check into a couple of rooms earlier than the check in time so that we could get ready for our day's events and freshen up. The hotel was really comfortable and the room was clean and modern. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

    The room were very neat and clean, the hotel is very central to every thing.

    The fire alarm whent off at 5 am. and there was no fire, only a faulty fire alarm.

    Reasonably priced including breakfast. Good location.

    Unlike most other hotels unable to check in before check in time. Tried to charge us for phone calls we did not make. We were out of the hotel at the times the calls were supposedly made.

    Excellent location wwithin 5 minute walk to tube station. Good general decor. Very good breakfast and service was excellent, couldn't fault it. Very good value.

    Bedroom was small but very well appointed.

    A very well presented hotel, with a calm, friendly and professional atmosphere. It is a real treat to find a hotel that has enough staff to allow them to properly do their job without rushing about, or trying to deal with too many guests at once.

    One or two minor irritations with positioning of bathroom fittings making things a touch awkward.

    Great location, room was contemporary, clean and good value for money for that area. Friendly and helpful staff.

    "Overall, a great hotel. Very clean, comfortable and despite being in the heart of London, very quiet surroundings once you are in your room. Our only disappointment was the quality of the bar food - slightly greasy and we didn't finish the meal. If we had had more time we would have probably eaten in the restaurant instead of the bar."     "Fantastic staff as always, excellent service, loved the upgrade as we are frequent guests at this hotel. Rooms were everything one could require. Very comfy and clean with sofy homely furnishings. My paterner and i always enjoy our stays. The breakfast is also excellent, good self service and good choice provided. Also great how we could leave luggage in room provided which is safe and secure. My partner and i always enjoy our stay, like meeting the staff again and are able to switch off and relax. We normally stay to watch a show in the theatre in the evening and then meet friends in the area the following day. However i have also stayed here for my best friends hen night where 3 of us stayed over. The hotel always looks clean and inviting with lots of fresh flowers and soft lighting. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again soon!! Thank you!!" (97248120)

    We were upgraded free to the executave room and asked which view we would like. The bed was v comfy as were pillows, sofa was fab and room was very cosy1 Good bathroom and liked the bath robes and slippers! Lights were soft and calming and tv was also fab! Room was very modern, great furnishings, up to date and clean.

    Not enough tea bags provided! as a huge tea drinker there were only 2 english breakfast tea bags and 2 earl grey which we dont like! Also the welcome pack should include menu list for waterfalls resturant downstairs.

    The updated room looked great. The bathroom also had been updated and the new fixtures were very nice.

    There seemed to be no hot water late one evening, and was still a problem the next morning,when it took 15 - 20 minutes to get hot water.

    It was comfortable and clean.

    The room being located next to the generators that were located next to the bedroom window. This noise made it difficult for my wife to sleep.

    "The rooms were booked for my wife, a friend and my two daughters. This is her review: We arrived at the hotel at 1pm. We were told by reception that our rooms should be ready by 2pm. One room was ready at 2pm but the other was not ready until 3.30pm. This caused us some inconvenience as we were going to the theatre at 5.15pm and had made pre theatre table reservations. The communication between the reception and the housekeeping staff seemed unclear as we were given varying updates. We lost our table reservation because we were too late. Generally we thought the staff were very good. The newly refurbished rooms were great. The breakfast was first class, particularly the English Breakfast. The hotel is not as close to Covent Garden and theatreland as we expected." (97319681)

    The accomodation was in an excellent condition as it had just been refurbished. Great to have tea making facilities and air conditioning. Lovely fresh soft white towels, crisp white bed linen and comfortable beds. Ironing board, iron and hairdryier were also welcome.

    The shower was ok although not especially powerful, however in room 205 the shower was not working properly and we reported it to reception. Room 205 was also quite cramped and the double bed was a small double. We would have prefered a choice of twin bedded rooms but were advised there were none in the hotel.

    It was close to where we wanted to be. I found the cooked breakfast excellent. The staff in the restaurant were very polite and pleasant.

    "This was our first stay in the Bonnington we were so happy and satisfied with our stay that we cannot find one word to say against this hotel. It is without doubt the best ever hotel that we have stayed in. In addition to the accomodation the entire staff were so welcoming, friendly and efficient and a credit to the hotel industry.     The executive room was a good size and had nice decor. It was clean and the staff was helpful.

    It would have been helpful to know that the different types of rooms were in different parts of the hotel, serviced by different elevators, when we booked. Part of our family was in one part of the hotel and our other room was in a totally different part of the hotel.

    It was a good hotel, very near to the Britsh Museum, Convent Garden, Soho, with two metro stations near; a very good breakfast; very good attention.
