  "Alpha City hotel is not close to the train station, but the directions for catching the tram were very good. It is very close to much of the action in Darmstadt. Even though I didn't like the stairs, I'll stay there again if I visit Darmstadt again." (99553447)

  Location - very convient to downtown/Luisen Plaza etc.

  "The hotel rooms are functional, although a TV is provided, together with a clean well appointed bathroom. As usual with all German hotels, the room was spotless, and comfortable. Breakfast was traditional, with no cooked food, although the proprietor was friendly and speaks excellent English, serving up good coffee and fresh cold food. All-in-all I would describe the hotel as providing excellent value for money, and ideal for the business traveller, looking for a comfortable place to grab a night's sleep before moving on."   Like all German hotels it was clean and functional. For a quick stop over with a clean simple, comfortable room it was ideal.

  The hotel is fairly central to Darmstadt Stadtzentrum. The principal problem was that it was difficult to find. Local cab drivers did not know where it was located, and I sepnt a lot of time walking around a silent town at midnight trying to find the hotel. Late arrivals find that Reception is unattended and there is an automated check-in machine on the wall outside which dispenses your key. Make sure that you have your password (your surname) to hand, otherwise you need to book in as a new guest using your credit card to swipe.

  Il sistema automatico di registrazione e prelievo della chiave, all'ingresso, un pò complicato e senza istruzioni tradotte.
